How often do you change your lamps out, Dirt?
I haven't grown a fan like that for a spell.
Got a Hortilux 1k, on hand. Seeing that, now thinking I should break it out.
My old trusty has got to have a few million minutes on it.

I swap lamps after about 8 months of burn time, which works out to about once a year for my HPS and once every 2 yrs for the MH lamps. And I just use a "decent" cheap chinese hortilux knockoff. I've found zero difference, if anything an improvement over the eye hortilux lamps honestly.

I too saw no difference on my 1K HPS and can buy 4 chinese bulbs to every 1 Hortilux.

I have a full year of flowering on that 1k lamp, it had at least one failed grow on it before the bulb came to me. I should be all responsible and take a couple measurements before I swap that out. Would be interesting to see.

Pretty sure I havent paid my older brother for it, yet.
Pretty sure, I am not ready to part with it yet.

Those are fantastic bulbs, it was my first ever indoor grow light when I was 18 years old! I had a 400w buzzbox ballast with a 430w son agro in a parabolic reflector hanging in my bedroom closet lol, took the door off and hung a blanket over the opening leaving the top and bottom slightly open with a fan blowing in the bottom for air. Left my bedroom window open constantly.

I grew 3 Durban plants in there and they turned out phenomenal. For a kid used to paying $230/oz for outdoor in Nova Scotia back in the 90's, it was like winning the lottery lol.

Forbidden Zkittles BX1 male pollen is collected and drying for freezer storage. I picked a huge heavy producing male out of the 5 I had. I'll probably use this to both make F2 of the FZ's and I'll dust a branch of the BMS also. Looking forward to this little project, and cant wait to get the rest of the pollen in the bank.

I have BMS BX1 and Love Stash F2. Both at 6+ weeks of flower. I have a journal here, no pics readily available, but you can check coste's mixed bag for the latest ones I posted a few days ago.

They sure put up with my haphazard run this round -- was out of growing for about five years, and started back up earlier this year with all new gear, new-to-me media, and environment. Lots of mistakes made but his genetics pulled through fine I'd say, despite not being as heavy as I'd like.

That is 100% my fault though, the plants did the best they could with what I provided.

Sorry to hear about the promix.. lol, that shit is nasty. I used it for way too long. Plants look good though, looks like its gonna be nice smoke. What are you getting for Terps comin off the BMS?

Haha thanks, I'm sorry i ever considered it. Lesson learned, won't be doing that again.

The main scents I've been getting are citrus with a really heavy fuel smell that cuts through. Like, there's gasoline running in her veins. Occassionally I get a whiff of sweet berry candy, but that may be coming from the love stash. My sniffer is pretty fucked though (moving to the PNW completely destroyed my sinuses) and I've been bugging my ol lady to give me a more accurate analysis. Still hasn't happened lol

It is advertised as febreeze and gas, or tangerines and gas. I'm not sure how to interpret the febreeze reference...

I think a BMS male could be an awesome father to breed with my platinum cookies, they both sound gassy.

I could see that... it's been so long since I've read the details about bms, mainly bought it because of the posts mischefmike on instagram. The flowers themselves have incredible bag appeal. There's definitely some citrus, and the berry I'm detecting could very well be construed as tangerine.

That description sounds just like my forbidden zkittles, gassy with tangerine, citrus and berries.. I'm totally smashin the FZ male with the BMS pheno of choice. Maybe a branch of each pheno to be sure lol.
