Well well well, look what the cat dragged in!
Recieved my prize package for the June pic of the month. Huge thanks to @spyralout, @Phylex, and @HydroRed for the freebs. Appreciate it guys! They will be put to good use. View attachment 18577
So glad they made it! Typically breeder packs are hard to get over the border. Props to @HydroRed for suggesting how to make the discreet packaging. And props to @Phylex for providing the gear. Looking forward to seeing you work your magic on these.

Thanks dude! I think it's going to be a winter or spring thing before I get a chance to crack these, I recently sprouted a bunch of Dragons Flame genetics to hunt through and need to phenohunt those and do a bit of breeding before I'll have the free space to hunt through these. But I'm excited!

@HydroRed & @Phylex, do you guys have any breeders notes to share? flowering times, fast or slow veggers, flavor profiles etc.. Any info would be great. Thanks again guys.

Nope. Those are completely new batches and are still waiting to be tested. @JL2G is the only one on earth with Moon Dragon seeds hatched. He also gets the credit for aptly naming 'Moon Dragon' as well. There should be more info available come Winter or Spring. Congratulations on the contest @Dirtbag

TBH, since they are freebies I dont have too much info on those other than 1 report which was a little vague with "all fruit phenos" & "no intersex" -but I'll take it. The parents are both known as relatively fast finishers at around 8 weeks (or possibly less). Congrats and enjoy!

I kept the Moon Dragons in solos way too long waiting for room to open up.
Poor plants. Lol. They took it in stride and were happy despite my abuse. ???
They took the heck off once I up potted them.
So far in flower they've doubled in height in the last week or two since I flipped them.
From 18" or so to about 3 ft now, though they were a little far from the light.
I don't think they'd have stretched as much had they not been surrounded by taller plants.
One of them has an almost flower shop type of smell, very nice imho, very pleasing to the nose.
Come about October I'll have a better flower report on them for you @Dirtbag
This is them on the left with some GOW

Been a while, figured I should update where I'm at!

New round is underway, I've got 11 Balckberry moonshine bx1, 12 Dragons garlic breath, both from Dragons Flame genetics, reg seed still needing to be sexed. Also have a fem clone of dragon cheese, 2x fem clones of HBCM from reno, and 2 fem clones of forbidden zkittles from ethos. All different phenos.

Right now I'm at week 4 and a half veg, this weekend I plan to take 2 clones of each plant and flip to see what's what.

I'm excited to see what the Dragon's Garlic Breath do for you. Jeff sent me some of those as well as 5 other cultivars. I have never ran any of his work, so I am stoked to start some of them ASAP. I have quite a few rounds of germination planned before I will be able to get to them though. I might pick up his Blackberry Moonshine Bx1 to look through. I wish you well with your run! Positive vibes...

So far it's a beast of a strain. Growing very thick stems and huge leaves. I think it's going to be really good... sometimes you can just tell, even when a plant is in veg. There is just something about the dominant structure it has... It just looks fukn potent already. The BMS bx1 looks deadly too, just not as robust as the Garlic Breath.

I appreciate the information! That definitely makes me more even more excited to check the Dragon's Garlic Breath out. In all honesty, when he told me that he was going to send me some of his cultivars, I was kind of hopeful for the BM Bx1, just based off of what I have seen other people produce with those seeds. He hooked me up ridiculously though and I am definitely not complaining. I may still purchase the BM Bx1 anyway. So many seeds, so little time. Positive vibes...

Yeah I had very good results with his dragon cheese. As a breeder Jeff seems to really know his shit. The BMS Bx1 is a brilliant bit of breeding the way he outbred the MAC to BM, and then back crossed that offspring to the BMS mom. Smart way to introduce new dominant alleles to the genetics. Cĺassy breeding.

If I recall correctly, you were the person who first turned me on to his work over on the farm. I appreciate you for that. Positive vibes...

Could have been. I was definitely talking about him a while back, A friend of mine who phenohunts pretty much for a living turned me on to DF a year ago or so. Hes a big fan, and he goes through a lot of seed from a lot of different breeders.

I am a fuckup haha. I looked at the list of what Jeff had sent me and it is actually his Garlic Stash #13. I believe haha. That shit isn't right in front of me now, so I might be fucking up again. I can't seem to locate a lot of information on the 6 cultivars that he sent me, except for the Love Stash and the Tahoe Dragon Cookies. I reached out to him about it, but nada yet haha. We shall see. Positive vibes...

When you sex cuttings like this do you still use a humidity dome?

I always use a humidity dome for rooting cuttings, they went on right after snapping the pic. But I'm not sexing the cuttings, I flipped the moms. The cuttings are under 18/6, when the big plants show sex I'll pull the Male clones from the tray and destroy them, and the males from the flower room will be taken to another location outside to make me some pollen for some breeding down the road soon. The female clones that root will be kept as new mothers once I decide which phenos I'm keeping.

Also got 2 phenos in the garlic breath that are intensely colorful. Jeff says it's likely the dragons stash coming through in the genetics, sure hope one of the two I have turns out female. Its wild how much they stick out among the rest lol.

Most look like this 20200829_154507.jpg

Very noticable in the cuttings jar lol... 20200829_171019.jpg

Ah, I get ya now! I always end up flipping the tent, pulling the males and putting the females back into veg, but it's so inefficient. Trying to decide if I feel like trying something new...
