Man, we're loaded with peppers and tomatoes but it's 43* this mornin, I hope I'll get some tomatoes before it turns too cold.
Low 50's all next week for lows then the 40's come.

I am sure you know this but you can hang the cut plants in a garage and they will keep ripening for a while longer safe from the frost and cold

Our jalapeño and habenero plants are comin in heavy, the next 10 days we'll have a bunch.
About a third are a jalapeño that's very hot, goes from pale green to bright red. Those and the regulars are lookin to be a large batch of canned cowboy candy.

Bout to start some decoy indoor crops while I get some vasement work done. Easier to just switch up what I'm growing than hide the grow itself. All the herbs, plus some San marzanos to crush and freeze, some bell and hot peppers, and some of the orange cherry tomatoes we love to snack on.

Yeah our weather has had more frost than an issue of high times. Not a lot of frost, but enough for someone to notice lol

Cabbage, brussel sprouts and broccoli will be ok but everything else not.
We moved our 2 citrus trees and a few other plants into the greenhouse. We had 2 huge habenaros that are in a pot and loaded , it's in there too and the oil filled heater is on.
We picked what we could yesterday.

Well, today we ravage the garden and pull most everything down.
Got a bunch of new soil to add along with lime, calcium and much mulch.
Got a nice big pile of potash saved up from the burn barrel from all the lumber scraps from all the projects this year to be added also.
In the back part we have baseball size heads of cabbage coming on and the Brussel sprouts are starting to stretch.
Gotta put a new pull rope assymbly on my 2 stroke tiller too, fun times!

Yes they can, they are still stiff and new.
I wash my 6 and 8 foot long bags at the laundromat in the "industrial " washer.
I can't possibly use em lol.
I'll have this many more in 60 days too!

We have a land fill and transfer staion with roll offs, I'll set them beside the dumpsters and they'll be gone in no time.
