would be slightly easier if you had all females, but not by much. like what charlie garcia had to do with peyote purple. if i remember right, he used a two different bubba kush clones, plus a selfed pheno he found from each? too blurry to recall exactly rn. but even after all that work, the cross still spit out %11 males. i believe the term we all used with it was "winning the lottery" if you found a male

That's interesting. My Cheetos #2 looks like it might be a male, and I'm thinking over cloning that, and then saving some pollen. It's Exodus Cheese X Sour Diesel, and I quite like the sounds of those as parents lol. Would make the Chemdog 4 interesting. Or the Alpha Skunk Cheese for that matter. It's rare to have a plant stink in less than a month from seed being planted in my experience.

sounds good bud. just smoked up my buddy who usually blazes all cookies crosses with the ecsd, now that hes used to the skunk he wont stop babbling about it. the old school skunk rot funk always gets em in the end

I know what you mean; That Blue Cheese mystery male cross, even though the smell was overpowering for most, they ended up loving the effects LOL. It's one reason I'm totally cloning some of these new genetics I'm Blessed to play with

I mean, all these new Cheeses I'm running, and all of them look good already. LOL it's hard to pick, so I'm going to clone all of them. The Blueberry Cheesecake from Brisco's has a very unique smell that is really hard to pinpoint, because there's funk in there, but also it's got a floral walking through the woods after it's rained smell that.... Yeah she's getting cloned too.

good luck with the cheese hunt, im sure with your affinity for the smelly sock weed you will have some nice selections to clone my cookies-gen pal brought me some of his cookie hybrid stash last night to "compare"... and i hate to say this because weed is at some point... weed. but it got flushed down the toilet. i mean if i wanted to smoke cardboard air...

*i realize i talk a lot of shit about cookies and cookies crosses. so ftr, i do enjoy some cookies hybrids, and when "cookies" (really OGKB for my area) hit, it was dank for a time. but breeding for bag appeal alone is something that should be banished forthwith. forever. eternally.

Thank you and don't worry about shitting on Cookies too much; I do it more than you lol.. I've had two I love, and it's not from a lack of trying either.... the first one is the first "Girl Scout Cookies" which had just lovely effects, and a nice yeasty flavor. I haven't had it in years.

The only other one, ever thus far, is GMO. Then again you could cross Chem D with almost anything and I'll try it lol. But that Garlic.... I got bagseed from a dispensary, and I love that so much I cloned it and ran 4 plants lol.

for me i have always been a resin profile guy, just addicted to seeing trich coverage everywhere on plants. some of the old genetics simply don't produce the "drizzle", and I get the visual appeal of the newer stuff. but alot of that can be negotiated, without creating forbes 500 listed companies based off stolen bagseed from the bottom of a pound.

You know I've enjoyed just about every "breath" strain I've had. Motor Breath being the main one I've had but it's a good one in my opinion

Yeah that original OG Kush that was around some years back, I totally loved it! It was some of the best bud around for a while.

LOL for straight up sticky looks, the Blue Cheese X Mikado is hard to compete with; It's covered... I don't even trim it nicely to be honest because there's no point, every leaf near bud, is just sparkling haha.

I have a bunch of new Cheese to play with, and I'm not sure I can simply chop every dude down...

Part of the reason I started this thread, was to deduce things that interest me and make me want to try pollinating a female on purpose.

I do all my pollen collection in a 36 x24x24. Even multiple times flower out females in quart pots with a male clone in there and hit multiple strains. By no means do I ever need thousands of beans. Small scale is easy and perfect...Hell single branch pollenation can give up hundreds of seeds on a single branch...Use your pollen man.. especially since it's beyond right up your alley..I get thru a few strains I have to see and I'll be running mostly all of my own crosses from here on out besides if I decide to test some for ppl

that's kinda my issue, I'd like to run some older mandala hazes/longer running sativas but need to separate out the growing environments. Going a bit overboard at the moment until we have something decent to stockpile.

Brother I would've done been moved there if it wasn't for my grandkids believe me!.. Looking like may be moving right up very close to lake Erie if things go right..If that's the case frequent fishing will be going down...All PH members are welcome on the boat👊
