Hey Now

Howdy y’all… I’ve been a long time cannabis lover, on and off grower over last twenty-five years, a part time pollen chucker, and victim of the war on drugs. I popped my first seed outdoors in 1992 and completed my first indoor grow in 1994, and it was off to the races from there. I had a number of run-ins with the law over the years from growing this plant we all love and consequently found myself working in retail hydro for the better part of a decade as well as having small closet grows, where I could. I found you all as I have been doing research to start my first serious open pollination project. I am glad to have found a crew that looks to be in line with what I am trying to accomplish in the second half of my life here. I am glad to be here, and look forward to sharing and growing with you all!

Respect for all the work you've put in

People like me, who've consumed for decades but just started growing upon (local) legailty, owe a debt of gratitude to any and all growers who've risked their asses to keep the wheels turning, so to speak. We wouldn't have been able to score all those years without you ?

Looking forward to seeing your project!

Welcome!...Stoked to see some open pollenation going on...What strains you have in mind
There is a long term plan at play here. I have three landrace varieties that I would like to do an open pollination for each. Obviously one at a time - and definitely spread out. The first one I am itching to start is a red Kandaharian (sp?) variety being referred to as “Rancid Red” allegedly smells like rotting flesh and spoiled meat. She is a beauty as well — a really nice red color that I have never seen irl. The rankness was the deciding factor tho…

Bro some of those Afghani ones are just..... I've read through the Indian Landrace Exchange site, and they have a few listed from the Balkh Provence that smelled like Raw Sewage.... Why I'm so into that I don't know haha.

The ranker the better! I have never met a smell of weed that I didn't like. Skunk, yep! Cat Piss, check. Baby diaper, don't mind if I do. Haliotosis, might I have another? Aside from the context of cannabis, these odors are generally disgusting, but somehow within the realm of this amazing plant, they smell fantastic. I can only hope I never have to eat my words...
