My hlg 200 is amazing. It is the perfect light for a 2 x 2. I was disappointed to see they only made them for a very short while. I am all aboard on team HLG.

Not sure why but that first run. He seemed like he wasn't going to make them again like they were switching to the 150s. Seriously, hope that's not true. Glad I got two while I could. But yeah the heat sink and cord are so nice . Wish they had those heat sinks on all the boardsHLG 200 Diablo

I’ll admit when one of the sales was like 25-30%off I bought 3 more hlg 200’s ( have 4 total) . Just like the 650r’ on sale, Best one was the 650r refurbished 410 out the door ? Even cheap led’s it would be hard to match
God If only I knew what I do and waited till now or close for my rooms setup , fuck those spydrx were almost 2k ?

blew a driver on an old hlg300 during last move, he sent me a free replacement driver instantly no questions. other than that, these are tanks, and i pretty sure the driver blew due to some terrible solar conversion at a previous location. user error

I also am a fan of their heat sinks. I bought another kit on ebay that routed the feed wire to the board thru the hole the hanger clip had to use. Just started clipping out on me last week so, I'll have to redo that wire.

Just to share my experience with HLG. I put a couple of items in my cart just to see what the shipping would be and forgot to clear them. About 2 weeks later I got a 15% off offer to help me "make the decision easier" which I thought was cool. Then they have this 10% off deal so might get 25%. I'm not sure this is their policy but worth a try next time you shop HLG. The savings added up.

A lot of the time also they will allow you to use the discount code on their website for refurbished, all of my 650r’s are that and the only difference compared to new is warranty time, 1 year for refurbished
I even had one have the ballast/wire get ripped off during shipping and they emailed me a return paid shipping and shipped me a new one next day!
on Black Friday they allowed all sales and I got my last 650r for 410 shipped/taxes !

tbh if it was me it’s ethier hlg or medicled , I looked at so many brands and own over 10 hlg led’s . i own 1 spider farmer 75 watt and the power input literally broke cause the power input was so crappy built. I just see no reason to spend same amount of cash on spider farmer when if u get a hlg or medic led on sales say it will be same price but company alone I love hlg. They will help ya and be very helpful if they can no matter what size ur grow is, shoot I know Fohse was all cool with me And even offered me a light but than when I answered I go around 10-15 led’s they literally lied to me after and said they wanted to work together and than I recalled and they blocked my number. Lol why even offer

now if I did my room over again, it would be the scorpion Diablo 750 instead 650r or similiar . Personally I see Inless ur overlapping ur led’s the scorpion Diablo will def do a better coverage and Footprint. Personally I like to run my stuff at lower power cause so many strains are ppfd showing sensitivity but doing so and watching ur plants u can have ur led closer and save power also. I know first rounds under led I fried my plants by too much ir, ppfd plants def didn’t want to go to max.
i Just know with their new reflector and adding that extra power to use you def can run at 50-75% and guratee your led more life but also be able to do like 6x6! Look there’s many copy cat companies but I haven’t seen many compete at all the check marks I want in a brand like hlg and I can’t see anyone but gml groupies hate on hlg. there’s honestly few companies I can say I see such good reviews ,always

I think that's a great light , the SF . A lot of the tech is very similar now, so there's not too too much difference. But All those little aspects add up in the end and I think they're well worth. They have refurbished stuff to that they cover for a year. When I saw that and the sale it was a no-brainer for me and I'm glad I did. I grabbed two more since. ?

Sometime this year I’d like to switch from HID to LED for my flower room. I know I want to go with an HLG light. Cost is definitely an object, and I had settled on the 600 RSpec to replace my 1000w HPS. Here’s my question…
The 600 is $699 new but $549 refurbished…
But how much of an upgrade is the new 700 RSpec FR reflector series? It’s $100 more brand new, but $250 more compared to the refurbished. Would I regret not going with the newest product?
Note that the reduced height above canopy isn’t too big a deal for me, as I’m at 34-36” with my HPS and both LED’s improve upon that.
