Im walking pretty good today. My back feels so much better. First time in 39 days that I didn't have to sleep on my side with a pillow between my legs. I just have some back tightness and lingering small issues in my pelvis and right leg. I know it's all trying to heal and build back muscle at the same time because of my increased food intake and movement. Hopefully these next 2 weeks get me in enough shape to start gardening again.

I had to tame this crazy Topanga canyon. Got rid of all the lower leaves and spindly branches and then supercropped the highest stretching branches because they were within 8 inches of the light. When we flipped to flower she was only a foot tall. Before supercropping she was pushing 4ft and still stretching like crazy. Hopefully this settles her down. This just shows what you can do even in a 2 gallon mylar grow bag, the cheapest container to grow in besides a used bag of coffee or chips lol. The other plant is monkey juice because she's my absolute favorite. 20210926_192252.jpg 20210926_192308.jpg 20210926_192259.jpg 20210926_192303.jpg 20210926_192705.jpg 20210926_192715.jpg 20210926_192837.jpg 20210926_193058.jpg 20210926_193122.jpg 20210926_193137.jpg

Glad things are starting to improve for you.
Here's hoping that you are back to yourself here shortly.
Cheers,
WillieP
Thank you. I am feeling more and more like myself every day. Shit, every hour now I feel better. I know I still have to be really careful because I have a habit of being almost healed then doing something stupid to hurt my back again. Any gardening I do is from my recliner lol. Felt good to touch some plants today.

Chronic back issues here too, and Im guilty of overdoing something thinking Im more healed than I really am. Glad to hear your feeling better and slowly making steps back into the garden (even though from what I've seen its been in good hands).

I woke up feeling awesome. Still some pain but that's the fault of gravity. I hate that shit lmao. My 11 year old daughter woke up with all the signs of covid besides a fever so I hope it's either a cold or upper respiratory but with most of the kids at her school being too young to get vaccinated, odds are she's probably got the bad shit. She was only 3 weeks away from her ouchie. We'll never know what she has though because she's severely autistic and turns into the incredible hulk with talks of nose swabs and needles lmao. she's also 3 weeks too young for monoclonal antibodies. Wish us luck!

We got her some homeopathic cold stuff and she's doing well. We'll really see how she feels in the morning but I'm thinking not covid since it's been two days of just coughing, snot and raspiness with no fever.

Tonight I walked on my own power down our rackety ass steps to the garden for the first time in 41 days. It felt great to be down there, get some good smells and just soak in the extra oxygen. I didn't want to leave but I promised only 15 minutes. Damn that was nice!

I'm very happy you were able to come and enjoy the ladies, even if it was for only 15 minutes. Our daughter is slowly feeling better, but we all know, it's uglier at night. Hope everyone has a great night!

Today is a little better than yesterday. For the last month it has felt like my upper and lower body where they meet in my back has been supported by toothpicks instead of a strong spine. Today it feels like I've been given an upgrade to popsicle sticks lmao. Anybody who has had back problems like mine probably knows what I'm talking about. Last night was the first night in so long that I was able to sleep on my back instead of my left side with a pillow between my knees. Im grateful. Trizzlers is the only strain that helps with the mental part of this shit and without kratom to manage my pain and uplift my mood I would be a complete mess im sure. Thank you mother nature for your medicinal plants. Kratom is petty damn addictive but when weighing the pros and cons it's helping more than hurting. Im gonna have to start tapering down my consumption when I'm healed though. Kratom withdrawal is no joke. I definitely don't want to end up needing it like i do now forever. Anyways, thanks for reading. I don't do social media and don't have any friends around here so writing it out here is sometimes my only outlet.

I’m in the same boat as far as friends and body pain goes. Stay strong. ::long distance awkward man hug::

Warm lights off temps even with the fans blowing cold air down there. We set the dehumidifier RH to 45% and that sucker blows out some very warm air when it's working hard. We're still getting a temperature drop during lights off so that's keeping them pretty happy. I can't wait for 50-60 degree days and cold nights again. I have to say that the light in the 3x3 which is only 240 watts is great for that tent and a 3-4 plant setup. Next time we'll run 4 plants in there and train them through the scrog net as they veg and into flower how it's supposed to go. We got everything set up just a bit late this time and then I messed my back up. @RitaBonita420 held it down like a champ and found her passion for growing this wonderful plant along the way. I love listening to her sing to them when its watering day. No matter what I did before or after, these plants are great because she put in tons of work. For everything that has happened to us these last couple months this run has been a great success so far, thrip infestation and all. We're gonna have to find some low price hid lights for this winter, 400w for the 3x3 and 600w for the 4x4. We'll put that hot ass dr bigg led in the small tent. All that with the dehumidifier and small heater should keep things in the mid 70s even through the coldest of nights. We always run lights at night. Saves on electricity and I like the kids being in bed and out of the way when there's garden work. It's almost time to go through these couple dozen strains and decide everything we're gonna run. It's gonna be our biggest run ever. We need it. Times are too rough right now and this is what keeps us sane and afloat. I hope everyone is doing well and has bountiful harvests this season!☮☮

Good stuff mang, was looking at the pics, they're looking very nice btw, and was seeing the thrip signs. Glad your on top of them already. Little basterds, I've dealt with them many a time as well. What has worked for me, I've found sprinkling some DE over the top soil and on the plants stem base will keep them basterds from reproducing in the soil, and from climbing up the magic beanstalk if they happen to live that long. The stuff I use also has some spinosad in it as well. Works very well for IPM, and can be used throughout any grow cycle as you'r not putting it on any of the foliage.
With DE there is no immunity they can develop either, it just tears them apart as they crawl/walk through it.
The thought of them little basterds being torn apart makes me happy. lmfao

We are going to get seedlings started for our winter run here within the next couple weeks. We have a lot of strains to choose from. Everything we run this time will be strains that were gifted from folks here at PH. We hope we do y'all proud. We're gonna get the big list of what we have together later and maybe we can get some help choosing. If we had the room we'd run them all lol.
