Theyre thrips and you can kill them with spinosad and safe soap. You can pick up spinosad sprays at home depot or grow store pretty cheap.

If you want to be thorough yeah. As @18B mentioned they have a two week life cycle. The spinosad spray will kill the adults and nymphs while the DE should prevent the next round from emerging. It actually gets spread across the surface of your medium.

Just like I said, since your already flowering try and keep the spinosad off the actual buds.... or wash your buds at harvest. It's natural but it is toxic

You can also try just the DE. The adults will die in a couple weeks and the DE should prevent more from hatching. I hate thrips so much
You guys beat me to it. I should have keep reading, lol.

Cheers

Will this work guys or should I not use this brand View attachment 59676
I wouldn't use that indoors myself. It's pretty gnarly stuff. And I definitely wouldn't let it touch the buds. I have no idea if it will harm your plants either. My only experience with Malathion is seeing it applied in commercial ag and they wouldn't let people in the fields for a while after the spray. In the long run its your call but I'd wait for the spinosad and DE myself. As I said, thrips aren't going to kill your garden so don't feel like you have to do something tonight.

Dawn dish soap will kill soft body insects like thrips. Wont kill the eggs i don't think but if you want to get a jump start on treatment. Just add a like a teaspoon of dish soap to a quart of water, spray plants and let it dry. Then just spray off the soapy residue a few hours later.

The soap hardens and kind of suffocate the bugs. Add in a little hot sauce and garlic for a little extra kick.

Then when spinosad comes use that. But I'd suggest at least two treatment methods to avoid the pest building a resistance to any 1 chemical.
