To be clear, I’m the boss. ?Dam bro
Very nice... One day I may get the balls to do custom fixturesLots going on, settling in, the Site is looking good! ?
Just to be clear, this is not a show light. it’s rustic. ?
Angle and plate were repurposed.
I finished the components for the lights. With the light being in pieces, I can hand the frame, set each rack in, mount an heatsink to brackets. Lot easier to handle. I’ve tried one light, not enough adjustability for me.
The each frame has two led strips w/ supl. red mounted one each side.

I have had most of these cobs for a few years, have added a few.
I really like being able to reuse all these pieces.
The four cobs I’m adding were from a light I hung a HLG 100 in using chain off pins on the heatsinks. Worked great.
(2x2 4 -132 35k / 2- drips to replace it.)
Each frame (2) has two racks of (4) Cree 3590 35k 36v.
I was running (6) x two, off a
HLG 240C 1050B / pot.
Now each light will have (1) driver for each rack x (4)

The plate I ripped for the qb‘s looks like I cut it with a hatchet. ?
Each light has (2) HLG 288 v1 4K x 2
I had these mounted on a piece of angle ??
I pop riveted thru the driver mounting holes, work good, maybe not up to code? ?
The boards are spaced, I hope, to basically center in the four cobs.
The old light was just short enough, lacked spread over the area on the ends. This is 8” longer and one additional cob x 2 per light.
I bought a couple of these drivers for the other 288’s, but might try them here. Test fire with one, never tried the ELG Meanwell, less expensive. Dimming is on the back.
Not sure on the puck, I change so much, hard to get a baseline.?
This is roughly what it will look like.

Throwing stuff at the wall, just part of it!
That wall has taken a beating.

Thanks for askin...Pretty good today back is holding up well. Got my small room all lined with durofoam and half taped. Tomorrow finish taping and put down the floor. Then I need to replace door and start setting up equipment. Should be done by Sunday night I hope.I just close my eyes! ?
How’s it going?
Sounds like your in deep. Thanks for askin...Pretty good today back is holding up well. Got my small room all lined with durofoam and half taped. Tomorrow finish taping and put down the floor. Then I need to replace door and start setting up equipment. Should be done by Sunday night I hope.
Lol gym mats. The 3/8 foam rubber. Tape em together with window flashing tape and then to the wall (durofoam) the room will be so air tight a mouse farting should increase the air pressure lol. Running bottled CO2 so has to be.Sounds like your in deep.
I’d rather do this. ?
What are you using for flooring?
These are the mats and a sneak peak of the roomHey, I’ve got those foam mats from HF. They dove tail? together.
I’m barefoot all the time, comfortable and with hydro, really nice.
Buckets are on concrete,
I’m not even taking a gander at CO2!!
I can see that rabbit hole from here. ?
I’m here to bs, so feel free.
Mine is to provide some insulation from the concrete as I'm doing dirt this run. I leave my hydro sites on the concrete and use an aquarium heater to reach my setpoint... I can have it down to 60f if I want... Not that I would. We have gym mats over carpet. After dealing with the buckets sinking in, which is a PITA if any water is on the floor cuz it drains into the indentations and under the buckets, we decided to put boards on top to make a firm even surface while still protecting the carpet. I hope you have better luck with them.
Shits dirt cheap and great for reflective walls. Like $12 Canadian for a 4x8 sheet. It's my favorite grow room material hands down. Not to mention it's rigid insulation board so easy to work with and on top of the reflective nature it insulates wellHoly shit where's the straight jacket and tin foil hat?
Nice. Mine is pond liner lol ??? saved our ass countless timesShits dirt cheap and great for reflective walls. Like $12 Canadian for a 4x8 sheet. It's my favorite grow room material hands down.
