I've only had Purple Punch in a Vape Cart, so likely it was nothing like the original, because they do a pretty bad job of getting Terpenes on point in those, but... Is Purple Punch one of those that simply doesn't have much potency ?
Gorgeous flowers with plenty of bag appeal, amazing fruity smells and flavors that translate to joint very nicely. They even frost up pretty nice, but the stone just isnt a powerful one. Its easy to grow and even easier to enjoy, but at a compromise on potency.

Ahhh okay, thanks for the clarification bro :) I've had strains like this before, and it's kind of a let down when you have to smoke a half ounce to feel it lol.

Tartar Kush x Blueberry's finished at 8 weeks but I ran her 9+ weeks and she's rock hard and smells insanely good! Very little stretch and fully self-supporting!
This was a freebie you sent along with my order, and she's a great girl to keep around to fill empty spaces, where she won't crowd out her neighbors!

Thanks so much for growing these out @Rozgreenburn.. Looks like this one was a success. I wish I could smell these flowers.

Also thanks for the interest in my work. I really appreciate you wanting to grow my gear. Means a lot to me.

Hey, you ever grow those Alaskan Blueberry Cheese?
Not yet. It's on my to do list. I had to get through my pack of Blue Magoo BX3, and then I got a hold of the MOB and Urkle cuts. I am pretty much out of room. For the first time ever, I don't have any plants from seed growing at all. It's all cuts.

I forgot how much I hate holding onto cuts. It's really just a space issue right now. But as soon as I have some room, I want to grow them out and make some F2. If you want them back to grow out, I can send them back to you. I am going to grow them, it's just going to be a bit before I can.

I thought I remembered you were going to do a seed run, but hadn’t seen anything.
Ha, no I don’t want them back, ran it, hughe cola turned into bud rot, a first for me.
Just finished three Blue Magoo BX3, all different expressions, lots a blueberry!
I’m excited to get started on the the latest Kali Snapple BX2.

It was in the back, looked fantastic, but when checking for ripeness!
I didn’t try to save it, more worried it would spread to my BM bx3 and pinball wizard.
I would definitely give it more space, she might be claustrophobic?
I usually pack em in, lesson learned….. probably not! :stoned:

Yeah, my guess is the size of the buds VS being in the back probably lead to some "stale wind" so to speak. I deal with it myself with outdoor here all the time, but normally I can chop off whatever isn't looking right. If you do ever run a Cheese again, give her some space, and allow good air flow, as the sheer size of tops on the average Cheese opens itself up to that. A few of them are less likely to do this though; Blue Cheese for example, doesn't normally get much Bud Rot on it. It's not as susceptible to it.

Yeah, I had spider mites really badly on all of the Blue Magoo plants I grew. I didn't figure that anyone wanted to see my ugly plants. I started them about mid January, and didn't get them finished till about late August. I ended up killing 3 plants in the process of trying to kill the mites. I then took the remaining plants outdoors, and treated them with Lost Coast Plant therapy. I then took cuts from each of those plants, and brought them in to root.

Unfortunately, those clones eventually got mites too. Luckily though, I was able to end up with a lot of seeds. A couple of Blue Magoo cuts that I kept didn't get mites at all, and I recently finished one of them. I had discovered a technique using bleach mixed with water, and I used it on those two. I thought that it would kill them, but didn't.

My Blue Magoo BX3 also had some different expressions. It's kind of crazy, because being that it's a BX3 I'd have assumed it was more uniform. I can't wait to smoke some though.

That Kali Snapple BX2 sounds amazing. Professor P sent me some I think Kali Snapple x Blue Magoo. Birds of Paradise, I think it's called?

I ran mine in one gal fabric, dtw, one stretched, one squat and one basically was a runt. They all smell like blueberry, been in jars for couple of weeks.
Fungus gnat are the only bugs I have….. easily controlled.
I have a remedy for mites that can be used anytime, but I understand the go-to treatment is poison.

Here's Tartar Kush x Blueberry. getting some color! Only 5.5 weeks from flipping. I started a flower tent in a [nearly] unheated space. This is the only way I can get much color, indoors. I put 8, 1 gallon jugs of water around the edge of the tent in hopes of them holding some heat when the lights go off. This plant has found a place in my world. She only stretches about 10% and does not enjoy being too close to the light! I find that I can drop her into a perpetual harvest tent whenever I find a bit of open space. She will finish in 8 weeks as a rock hard, Un stretching and easy-going girl, who makes me feel good without needing to smoke mass quantities!
I've got 2 females and 1 male of your Kitchen Sink Kush going right now. Keeping the male cloned until/if needed!

@Rozgreenburn I'm happy that you found something that you enjoy growing in these seeds. I had a feeling that these two lines would pair well, but just didn't have it in my plans to grow it for the foreseeable future. I think that the Tartar Kush brings the potency, and the Blueberry brings the good vibes. Though that Blueberry line is also stoney itself.

Tartar Kush itself was filial bred to F2 then F3 in an unheated chilly basement. The grandmother of this plant did exceptionally well in the cold. She would almost turn black. Never saw any intersex. I think she was more potent when temps were more chilly.

Can't wait to see how those KSK F2 turn out for you. Are they flowering too?

I've only got the 2 KSK females going now. Similar growth to TK x BB, they will be run again from cuttings, and in the same way I've treated theTKxBB. I'll try to fish a KSK from the back of the tent for a pic or 2 tomorrow.
That Blue McUrkle sound very interesting. What are you calling her?
