We drove 5.5 hours to get to the Z Labs Family Reunion put on by @Bad Dawg and the rest of the GLG family. Absolutely great folks. I met and talked to @Dino Party for a while too. Really a cool and knowledgeable dude.

We will be heading back over there tomorrow. We are staying in Saginaw MI currently. I miss my cats, I miss my dogs, and miss my plants, but I'm excited to meet everyone.

Saginaw is too far from home, but somewhere like Kalamazoo would be perfect to move to. Or maybe a place like Niles or New Buffalo, that borders with Indiana. I'm really familiar with that area.

Still chugging along. No pics. Got a shit ton of Blue Magoo seeds. Thousands in total. No flowers between seeds and mites though. I have two Blue Magoo cuts though. The MOB cuts are huge and vigorous. I need to flower two of them, and keep one. I am trying to root more MOB cuts at the moment. A couple of Urkle cuts made it, and are in square nursery pots. The rest didn't root and after almost 4 weeks, I tossed them. 2 cuts is better than none.

I'll be cleaning my flowering tent thoroughly and making sure there are no mites in it before flowering anything else out. But soon it'll happen.

Closeup pics of MOB. She's smelling something heavenly. I wouldn't say she smells like Blueberries, but she's smelling very sweet like candy.

She's been seeded by pollen from the two Blue Magoo BX3 males that I grew earlier this Summer. I will be looking for some testers to grow some of the F1 out, and if all goes well I'll be releasing them at some point down the road. For now, I am going to make sure that the seeds finish, and that they are healthy.

Is MOB Mother of All Buds ? Or Mother of all Berries ? I've seen both, and get them confused sometimes. We have two MOAB clones outside right now that are for the Wife (smells like Fruity Pebbles, I was gonna toss them but she wants them LOL).

Ahhh, OK thanks ! The ones outside are actually pretty frosty, and starting to turn purple, and the smell.... I totally get the Berry parts, but for me, it smells a lot like Fruity Pebbles. There's a little more in there that I pick up on, though, this is while the plant is still alive, so, after a cure it may change a bit. Wife is excited about it.

Yeah, I got confused with it, because I had two clones marked "MOAB", but the MOB when I googled it, Mother of all Buds was what they were saying, but, I'm a little iffy about trusting google on strains; It's bit me in the ass before.

Not quite fully knocked up. Partially. I wanted to have some unseeded to smoke. But I'm sure I'll get 100+ seeds, so that'll be plenty to look through for now. And if they turn out to be special, I'm going to make many more. If I can find some reliable testers, I might decide to release it if everything goes well. But that's down the road a ways.

I've heard MOB isn't very potent, but I haven't smoked it yet either. So I'll have to report back and let you and everyone else know. Crossing to Blue Magoo BX3 should remedy that. Apparently Black N Blue Magoo, which is Purple Punch x Blue Magoo BX2 is very potent. Anything that can make a Purple Punch cross potent should be able to increase potency in anything.

I know a few people who have made S2 and S3 of MOB. I have some S3 from a few different people in fact. Were yours S1? I know that TH Seeds made S1, and Highrise made F2. Lots of purple phenos in the selfed ones I hear.

I've also heard that Mother of Berries and Maine's Own Blueberry are different?? Someone on IC Mag or RIU was talking about it. One is the berry one, and the other is more cherry, according to what this guy said. I have no clue if it's true.

I did a piss poor job of cataloging them when I got them. I just have them marked as "M.O.B. fems". I dont even remember who I got em from but it was from someone I traded with on RIU like around 2016 or so.

I've only had Purple Punch in a Vape Cart, so likely it was nothing like the original, because they do a pretty bad job of getting Terpenes on point in those, but... Is Purple Punch one of those that simply doesn't have much potency ?
