Old Cheese Questions?

Feel free to ask away bro :) I've got a bunch of new ones started for the first time to explore.

I know one strain you may like; there's a UK Cheese X Chem D, and though I've never had it myself, I imagine that's wonderful lol.

Albatross Gardens on Strainly, fixed me up and then some! He had a BOGO so I ordered his Black Sugar pie, and requested his Optimus Grape for my BOGO! Well, after getting lost in the mail, they finally arrived! Upon opening the prize, I found 2 more freebies inside! ? He also sent me, Morning Oranges = Orange Sunk x Tombstone, and Double Sugar Pie = Black Sugar Pie x Jelly Pie!

The other part of my mail was another 5, 1 ounce .999% silver rounds. I don't know what our leaders are up to, but I'm trying to preserve my capital. You see, I can't spend money I don't have. And If I print my own, like they do, I'd be sleeping in the crossbar Hilton.
Has anyone ever balanced a budget? It's simply a matter of what you need, not what you want. How bloody childish.

Decided to hop on the Nachos & El Sapo deal. 50% off and helping Nacho out is a combination I could get behind. Plus, despite all my seeds, I have very few Fems left that I havent grown already. Also dont have much of this hyphy zaza stuff. All in all feeling good. Even happy with the unexpected freebie. Got some CBD chapstick too lol

Let's say the dollar crashes and becomes worthless paper. Can you take your silver rounds to Waffle House and get smothered and covered? - or buy groceries at the supermarket, etc? Serious question. I hear for years to invest in gold and silver, but can you spend 'em when the sheet comes down? I've long wanted to ask this.

In your waffle house shtf scenario.........lets's say they are still serving.................will they be taking that worthless paper money you mentioned as payment or something else?

The truth is, in your money went worthless scenario, is that bartering will become the way things are done and silver will work as well as any other commodity that people want and will trade for.
So, yes you will be able to spend 'em.

in this such situation the short term is liable to be uncomfortable for everyone. I assume other countries will still have currency to trade in and exchange precious metals for those. Let me tell you how great I am at silver, I hedged against inflation for 2008 and the spot price promptly dropped 33%......

Its fun to play with and pretend I'm a pirate though.

If it goes down, there will not be any waffle house. I am covering the bases, Barter may be the best way to get by. I personally don't have any gold. If you have Salt, Sugar, Flour and life sustaining supplies, you can get through until {if} things get fixed. My thinking with silver is, at $30.00 or so per ounce, silver would be easiest to trade with. If you were to use gold for the same purpose, 1 ounce of gold is approximately $2000.00. How ya going to make change?
With a little luck, nothing ever goes wrong {yeah, right}, and I end up sitting on a small pile of precious metal. No harm, no foul!

I'd just invest in armor piercing rounds personally. And water purification of course. And Catfish! Every 1.7 pounds of food you give a Channel Cat, turns into 1 pound of Catfish, which is a ratio that is hard to do with almost anything else edible. Also they'll eat damn near anything. Someone gets to close to the Cheese ? Well, they are fed for another day. :) LOL.

Also I'd make Moonshine; Not just because I'm German and Irish, but it's a great way to clean wounds on the fly.

I suspect armed robbery / home invasion will be more popular than barter. Counting on a suddenly desperate population to allow peaceful bartering seems risky at best.

If I'm holding a stockpile of food and essentials - and I am - I'm not trading for a couple of ounces of metal I can't digest. It makes more sense to me to invest in non perishable food, water, a high perimeter fence, and gadjets that fire deadly projectiles. But I'm open to alternatives if they make more sense.

Peaceful??? That's your word chief not mine. I have plenty of guns, reloading capabilities, powder, shells, primers etc here to go along with my food and silver. Won't anything be peaceful anywhere, plenty of killing in fact, but there will be barter. What's risky is not being completely prepared and aware now.

Once you are done eating your food what are you going to do? What if you or yours needed medicine or some other in need situation?

Ouch...I do know that feeling. Silver is a mutherfucker. You need to get burned first, realize it's a long game and sit there like a vulture waiting for your moment to get out. :) If you held, you'd have doubled your money in spring of 2020.....I ate too much $30+ silver and it took 10 years to make that flush. I bought a bunch of $14-$15 silver 6 years later to average down my cost. I did ok in the end but it was a scary ride there for a bit.

A fair question since you don't know how 'invested' I am in food supplies. High odds would be that I'd die by 'natural causes' long before starvation becomes a possibility.

Fellas, please remember this is the "Seeds I Bought Today" thread. Maybe we could have the doom and gloom conversation elsewhere?

When you say elsewhere, do you have a link to the appropriate forum?
