Finally got the new SF2000 hooked up in the 32x32... I like the features they've added since I bought the first Gen one... having a built in on/off switch and dimmer is great. Also has an ethernet type port for connecting multiple lights on one dimner. The dimmer is switchable too which is nice. I'll probably rarely use the dimmer tbh. One thing I forgot is how big these lights are. If I want to add a supplemental light in there I'd have to get creative with my scrubber and fans. I think I could just fit a second SF2000 in there which would be cool someday. I bet I could crank some frosty nugs out of there running two at 70% or so and unlike the CMH there shouldn't be any issues with heat. Would also be cool to supplement with a Timber Daisy or something, but I need to take a break from buying growing equipment for a bit so that's something to ponder later lol

I already threw my second veg tent idea out the window. 3x Chem 91 x SAS13 from @Schwaggy P went in under 12/12 along with the Chem D X Banana OG I still have going. Decided she earned a second run but isn't a keeper for me. My tester was great smoke, just not keeper great.

At 30w/sq ft it's a little shy of where I'd like to be for flowering but we'll see how it goes.

Veg tent now... just the first SF2000 is there now, I moved the v65. I dropped the light closer to the canopy to try and get the temps up. I'm probably going to move the filter off the floor too soon, see if that helps. The veg tent hates winter. I get all these annoying deficiencies I don't get in warmer weather. The Hyper Dragon X Celestial Ghosts are a little droopy from the transplant but everything looks pretty good. Those 3 are next to flower but I want to let them get a little bigger so I can really see what each will bring. 20201101_161907.jpg

Somehow I'm completely out of one gallon pots... need some for the Hazlenut Cream and Vanilla Commander. I always seem to be out of something haha

16oz Auto update lol 20201101_161848.jpg

And finally.... this is where the v65 went... the boys room! This is the 18x36x24 tent that I was retiring... obviously I didn't follow through on that either. It's sole occupent is the GMO7 BX x GMO1 BX male I kept. I've got a couple clones of this boy going now and too in case he shows out 20201101_163216.jpg

Where are all of these Black Triangle F2s coming from?! I fucking hate sleeping on cultivars. Everything is looking marvelous, as always brother! Positive vibes...

Greetings brother @stanknugzz77,
The Black Triangle f2 used in the Generic Seeds crosses I made in '18. 12 ladies and 3 gentlemen were open pollinated outdoors under full weather in the PNW.

The whole season was documented with weekly updates on a different forum.

Greetings brother, cannabis plants under LEDs generally need 80-85F temps and higher humidity (when possible) because there's no infrared to heat up leaf surfaces and induce transpiration as is the case in HPS/CMH grows. So pulling warm air from the top down is probably the way to go...like you have it. Intake in the top of the tent (above the light) with the filter/exhaust on the floor.

Your soil or medium could have a great balance of nutrients. Without sufficient transpiration the nutrients cant make it to where the plant needs them. Which is probably why you see deficiencies in the cooler parts of the year under LEDs.

And brother @Frimpong mentions a great idea. A piece of foam insulation board under the pots will help keep the medium/roots warmer over the cold season. I do the same thing...1.5" insulfoam board with the foil side up on the floor of the veg room.

Thank you for the tips! I'm very familiar with LEDs issues in lower temps, though the why of it is something I had never delved too far into. I hadn't thought about the fan pulling warm air down either, that definitely makes sense so I guess it will stay put.

You also got me thinking about supplementing IR instead of heat...

Much appreciated on the information brother! The homie @Bodean just filled me in as well. Thank you for your time and effort that you put forth in preserving that cultivar. I am hoping to get some Black Triangle into rotation in the near future. Positive vibes...

Couple quick notes this morning since I'm working from home today.... my chuck of @Buck5050 GG75 pollen to the White Tiger female definitely took... doesn't look like it will be a ton of beans but I'm not too concerned with that, just happy to see I didn't screw it all up. I think the (VBxBBM) x GG75 chuck took as well and should yield more seeds. Again, appreciate the pollen donation brother! Really happy to get some experience in with this and simultaneously get some fun crosses to play with!

The other big note is I made the difficult and unfortunate decision to cull the Southern Bananas. I can't figure out what her deal is but she's just not right. The nugs are all coming in strangely... best I can describe it is if you've ever had a plant get burnt by your light and get the burnt part off, the way the bud grows after that is what the whole plant looks like. Plus the deficiencies are back. I'm really bummed because I've seen people get some killer plants out of this cultivar, and the Copper Candy is such dope smoke I was really looking forward to trying more Briscos. But I have too many plants going right now to spend a ton of time on a struggling plant. I'll have to drop some more when I have room, though I think I may try the Kelly Maxwell first.

Ive been so busy and chopped so many plants at once today I found myself trimming a pile of buds and and realizing I couldn't remember what I was trimming haha... figured out it was the Chem D x Banana OG but definitely spent a good minute just staring at the pile of trim feeling slightly dazed...

Anywho, here's some pictures...

@Phylex the 3 Hyper Dragon x Celestial Ghosts, three distinct phenos. Left to right they're what I've labeled #3, #1, #2 (why aren't they in order you ask? No idea!)

#3 is the most vigorous and the clear sativa leaner, stem rub is refreshing and grassy/lemony. Seems the most nute sensitive, seeing some yellowing in the leaves.

#1 has solid vigor and form with a stem rub that leans a little more on to skunky/lemon.

#2 stanks to high heaven. The leaves are fat and wide with little bumps on the tips. There are trichs all over her stem and already. A quick stem rub left my fingers ridiculously sticky. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to describe her smell... it's familiar and funky but lacks parallels outside of cannabis.

Threw the two Hazelnut Creams into flower tonight too in the big tent but forgot to take pictures.

Have 2/3 Chem Sister cuts rooted and in coco. One of the MSS as well. All the others have just barely started to root.

Also took 4 cuttings off the Hippy Slayer tonight and got them in the cloner. Need to get that into flower so I can see if it was worth it.

Yeah, that's probably the strain I'm most excited about here.

Romulan and Durban have been my long time favorite strains, and while I've found some good Durbans over the years, all the Roms have been a disappointment.

Real Romulan is a rare find ?
