I'll just drain instead of fiddling with that. I've had to do emergency bypass surgery before on the first run with rubber hose bigger than radiator hose and that wasn't fun ?

This is what it looks like for 15 min after lights out. The red looks much more spread out IRL, at least to my eyes.

What it looked like when it first went from rooter tray to RDWC about 2-1/2 days ago:
I saw a tiny bit of root peeking out of the bottom of the net pot. Water is lower than a couple days ago. I expect this plant to to hit 2nd gear and chirp the tires really soon. The others are not far behind.
3x3 F&D Tent - Days 7 & 12 (Left), 2-1/2 days ago right)
Everybody that survived the rooter tray got a seat. Top feeding until roots show out of the bottom.You can tell which plants have roots hitting water.
Greases Pieces #2, still ahead of the game, but it has a new competitor catching up.
Alien Chemdawg #2 just came outta nowhere and is beefing up nice. Looks like it'll be a squat plant.
Just how close can I get this bare bulb CMH? Once the little ones catch up more I'm thinking of lowering it closer.

Thanks jpc ? all inspired by the cannabis community. Yes, sometimes I can just feel it when they're about to go bonkers. I'm looking forward to a solid run, each time has been different so far. Lights are better now. I wanna be able to get the environment good enough to ride the VPD wave.

I don't wanna risk bleaching or scraggly stretch if it gets too close, that thing is intense. When it fires up it looks like an arc weld.
I got down to 25% left in my RO can and let it collect again. Since it has a mini whirlpool effect going on, there was this weird clear gel all clumped together swirling around, a bit bigger than the size of a quarter. I fished it out. Completely clear, no smell, slimy. Is that the UV killing off stuff and it accumulating? If it happens again I will try and get a pic.

So @spyralout as always I love reading your journal. I always feel so much smarter after. Only took me an hour and a half to work through 16 pages. How do you like the gorilla tent now that you have had it for a bit? I want to buy one for my boyfriend for his birthday. A 4 × 4 × 5.
Loving the @Phylex gear too. Finally got to pick up my stuff which means I've got my seeds again even if I don't have a lot of space to run them. I'm super hype about cosmosis now.
And my favorite part of the whole Damn journal was @Uncle Rom and his nipple. Just don't tell aunt rom I said so ?.

That's just bacteria.. looks like toilet paper pieces in the water right? harmless to plants. Not sure if your running sterile or live.

If I'm remembering correctly that type of bacteria feeds on either silica or starches. I can't remember exactly but it not something you need to worry about
Thanks I'm glad you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy sharing it. The gorilla is awesome. It's not as light proof as they make it out to be. There is still light from the zippers and just a few holes here n there, mostly in corners and stitching. Overall it's 1000% better than a typical Vivosun, but it costs more too. I had to modify it to make my system work, which was nerve wracking cutting a gorilla tent ? still need to patch that a bit before flower. The material of the tent is awesome, I'd pack this thing and take it camping but I'd have to sleep in the fetal position ? unless I turned it sideways ?
I've had really good luck with all of @Phylex gear, over 80% female rate across 100+ beans. They are all solid strains, and they each had their quirks about them. Generally speaking, they were pretty resilient with multiple stresses. I had a few different pHenos of Cosmosis, two that were standout - a fruity pebbles like pHeno and an herbal floral pHeno. Both were creepers, a 1g J to the head can send you down a rabbithole before you realize it.
no, not at all. It was a gel goopy substance like jelly snot but super clear like plastic wrap.

Yes, popped open and rinsed out, but probably not as thorough as like a nute pump
