A $15 Bluetooth microscope from the zon. A little cumbersome to use, but does good pics. Max see I think the brand was.
Well worth it imho.
I have the same one. It's easier to handle versus the little jewelers loupes.

I have nothing but frustration and have never had it work well ever, even sent one back as I thought it was bunk...that said though I refuse to cut buds off my plant to check trichs. I tried attaching to a stand, was even more jacking around trying to get it right...more power to ya's

I use both personally; hooking up the scope to a phone can be a real pain when you're trying to hold a branch steady in the wind, and actually see clearly, so I normally just use the Jeweler's Eye when I first start checking them, and then when I see what I'm after, we Scope them to confirm.
Yeah the connection to my phone took me a bit to figure out. But I've got it working now

What I do is lay my phone down somewhere and take multiple pictures with scope then go back and look at phone. When I do multiple strains I take a picture of a piece of paper or my finger to separate the plants or strains. Still kinda a pain but I don't have three arms lol.

I have one but it's only in focus at a specific zoom... kind of a pain and I wish mine was more clear of a shot too. Mine was also from Bezos

I tried the scope on a camera stand with an arm, but that was way to bouncy to get anything in focus.
On the plant macro is tough, but I snip a bud off when my eyes think she's close. Gives me a smoke test early then too, satisfies my curiosity a little bit. Lol
Outdoors imho would be impossible with my scope, any breeze and itd be outta focus.
I sit at my coffee table to scope em, while i smoke on their friends. Lol
As you'd stated mines a bit hard to focus if your trying to do it with the zoom dial.
I set the zoom dial where I'm happy with the view, then move the scope in and out from what I'm viewing til it gets into focus.
Got home last night to reply and was so brain dead I couldn't type shit. Lol

I just jam that scope into a nug until it focuses ! Hah I been wanting to try the arm stand with a nug cut off but I seem to get close enough with the phone. Sometimes I’m able to set it on my scrog net right next to where I’m at, I can see how it would be a bitch outside. I always still loupe it just to get up in there lol

Oh trust me, when a good wind comes through, and you're trying to hold a scope and a branch... It's like trying to zoom in on balls flapping in the wind and does NOT work well. Normally the Wife helps me out, by holding the scop and phone, while I hold the bud in place.
