I only recently learned that the gay FNM member( I think the bassist?) that wrote Be Aggressive did it mainly to fuck with the singer. He thought it was hilarious that a straight guy would have to constantly sing a song about giving blowjobs.

In fact, the gay cat is the keyboardist Roswell "Roddy" Bottom. The band expected the reaction of new vocalist Mike Patton would be rich when he saw the lyrics, but in fact they were shocked when he had no reaction to the content and kicked the vocal into the stratosphere.
Interesting note about Bottom. Before he came out as gay, he was in a brief hetero relationship with Courtney Love. This confirms everything you'd always guessed about Courtney Love
Back when it was released, there was no internet to look all this shit up. We knew there was something fucky about the lyrics but the song rocked so fucking hard you just kinda ignored it.

It was like with Freddie Mercury or Liberace, some things are just so obviously gay it must mean something else. /shrugThe line "I swallow, I swallow I SWALLOW" might have been a clue.
As I'm sure you recall, it was a far different world waaaaay back in the early 90's. Among many other things, openly gay didn't exist in the mass media unless you were already huge, like Sir Elton or Bowie.
