Our house was built in 1949 when we bought it in 2015 I got in the fireplace with a cutting torch & cut the fireplace hardware & put in a stainless chimney liner & wood burning insert then built the mantle shelf for the fireplace it's nice to warm myself on a winter evening or have a fire with my morning coffee had to replace roof on our old house before we sold it

I do a lot of mountain biking, whitewater kayaking and try to bring my pups with me wherever I go.. Especially when we take the Land Cruiser out..

Snowboarding. I love snowboarding, even though I am in a flat ass midwest town. We got a small hill and one of the best terrain parks in the entire midwest, so I grew up a rail rat riding street stuff. Got out of snowboarding to pursue a career in teenage drinking and drug use, and fell out of it for over a decade. Finally picked it up again a couple years ago and its like I never missed a beat. I've been thinking about it obsessively since the spring and we're only a month or two away again!! very excited.

I like to hike, hang out with my dogs, and ride my bike. I've played drums since I was a youth, and have on and off when it has been available, due to not everywhere you can just set up a fuckin' drumset and wail on it lol. I "taught" myself banjo, I can play it and know scales and such but have never bothered learning a single song. I can actually clawhammer/drop thumb pretty proficiently. I just prefer to pick it up, make up some shit, set it down and walk away. Man, @HydroRed I might have to work out an electric banjo situation with ya here in the future!

Theres a bunch of other shit too, I did wet taxidermy for a minute, and a bunch of other short lived hobbies. But I'm a recovering alcoholic and lost a good portion of my teens and 20's to alcohol and drug use. My new hobby is rebuilding a better life.

I love wrenching & restoring. Ive done a ton of restorations including everything from old train lanterns, to pre war bikes, to classic cars. Sometimes making an old item new can be more fun than the item itself. Ive got a thing for building guitars and electric cigar box guitars & amps too. Hand made from the fretboard to the pickups. They aren't wall hangers either, they jam!

It's got about 10inches of OME and Dobinsons.. Hoping to LS swap it in the next year.. I got rid a locked 97 anniversary edition last year and am really regretting it with the pricing these days.
Hoping to add a 60 at some point as well..

What part of CO? We try to get a Colorado/Moab trip in every now and again.. Funds have been pretty tight lately though with everything going on..

I'd be sad to if I'd gotten rid of that 97, they're getting really hard to find. Guy in my neighborhood has one done up really nice. Good 80's are getting harder to find, and getting pretty spendy now.
Heck I've had my cruiser for 13 yrs now, it's worth more than I bought it for, and she just goes and goes. Lol.
Haven't gotten out to Moab, but I've gone all over here in CO. Love getting out there in the hills, or heading for a lake.

So I love tattoos haven’t got any in awhile I don’t have much room left so I’ve been letting the wife have my appointments so she can catch up lol here is some of my work this is filled in there now I just don’t feel like taking another picture lol I also love hunting Bear, Deer, and predators coyotes and small cats and big cats with dogs that’s always a good time

and I like fishing
My alll time favorite thing tho is spending time with my wife she is my rock and my best friend she is a nurse and with COVID seams like she is working constantly today is her day off she just got done with a 23 day stretch so I’m going to get her coffee in a bit and she will probably sleep most the day which I completely understand but I love this woman so much it’s crazy

Over last winter I lost my 2 loyal companions a border collie & an Australian Shepherd aged 13 & 14 yrs I was devastated but after a few months realized I need a dog in my life this is tedi-bear aussie/border collie mix @ 6 mos old already turning into an excellent watch dog
