The magpies here always try to steal the dog food As well. Two border collies that we have sometimes tag team against them.
It’s kinda funny to watch, sometimes they get the win and it’s feathers everywhere!…lol
The border collies don’t want anything to do with being in the house unless it’s 25 below or colder, and want back out as soon as it’s -20 or close… I’m pretty sure they think they are huskies…lol

I've been enjoying these crows since spring. A pair had a nest 25 yards from my deck and I watched the little guys grow up. I posted earlier about the parents leaving the two little ones in my yard with me while they did crow stuff. Being a baby crow babysitter was pretty awesome. It will be sad when they head south.
I'm not sure what happened but the family of four seems to be down to two. When they were all together the magpies and the squirrels knew to stay clear but not now. Hence my involvement. : )

Same stuff daily these days. At least ninety minutes of some combination of yoga, Pilates, stationary bike, bag work, HIIT, and strength training. Three days per week I run. My runs are five, eight, and twelve miles. The other four days I walk at a four and a half miles per hour pace for sixty minutes. Besides that, I cook food, do typical chores, and that’s about it currently. Itching to buy a house and have housework and whatnot to do. Also, can’t wait to be able to go mountain biking and trail running.

Those are the moments that make it not only worthwhile, but to the long term memory bank!??
As with any animal/ bird/fish/creature, they give way more than the get!… I would hate life without them!
Sorry about the wind noise. Here's me clicking at one of the gang during the summer and some interesting sounds in return. I never knew they made such a large variety of calls before this year.

Trimmed, OD final days of de-leafing the plants but I’ll prolly do a lot more wiring /supporting since thats def a issue at the end. So thankful I had a buddy help me today cause it def made a huge inpact, 1 full day more day and I should be done with that!

I need to do some target practice with this bb pistol. I'm deadly with the ol' long barrel pellet pistol but it takes ten pumps to get full velocity, so maybe 2 rounds per minute compared to the semi-auto bb pistol(plus there is more chance of collateral damage with the pellets). I've missed two shots this morning and the magpies are not learning.

Also, you did see me mention minimizing collateral damage? Not sure full auto is the best way to achieve that. ?
