"The Philosopher, is Stoned"
Yeah, smoke that shit!!!
Still no grid power. Now our landline went out.
I'm warm, dry, well fed and smoked, and have 2 months of edibles. My life is good, I try hard to focus on the positive. Negativity can't help, so, I'm not going there!
Went the 2 miles to the mailbox, cleared fallen branches with a chainsaw on the way out. There's still 4 inches of slush that will freeze back in a few hours. If I were still working, this would suck. Now, not too much!
Hope nobody got too hurt over the last storm.
Thanks Bro, I think we'll have power by morning. Genny has all my lights working, and I have a backup genny as well. Priorities!!!hope you get power soon!
And the tale of the missing power continues. Tune in tomorrow to hear Uncle Roz say, Who the Fck ate all my edibles? Another day another $50.00 worth of gasoline, money that could have been spent on grow supplies . It's OK, the lights are all running and the girls have no idea what I'm having to do for them.
Time for a fresh cup and a fresh bowl?
I feel for you homie, sending all the electric positive energy vibes your way!!!. It's OK, the lights are all running and the girls have no idea what I'm having to do for them.
Thanks, growmie! I just fired up my older {back up, back up} generator. Let the other cool down for 8 hours before she gets kicked back into sevice .I feel for you homie, sending all the electric positive energy vibes your way!!!
Awesome!! You'll be the first to run that hybrid. I haven't ran any yet.Soil building today. Got 40 gallons of super soil in the composter, and 40 gallons in pre-composter cans. All have been built and will get some warm water with yeast and compost starter to get them started. I am still deciding who's going to get wet tonight. I was treated quite well by our own @Ohwolfie and Green Wolfe seeds. I ordered a stout Tartar Kush F3 and a Blueberry F9. I was undecided about who to run first. I just realized that I'd forgotten the freebie he sent, Tartar Kush F3 x Blueberry F8! That will be my next effort. getting wet today!
OK bro, it's on! I'll wait until morning to get 'em wet. We'll soon unlock their secrets ?Awesome!! You'll be the first to run that hybrid. I haven't ran any yet.
If I were to guess, I'd think that the Blueberry side should really come out. The Blueberry aroma always seems to present itself in outcrosses. Being that it's an F8, I'd imagine that side should dominate. There were 4 males used to pollinate those, but one didn't drop a lot of pollen. So mainly 3. A couple were more stretch indica types, and one was a really dark green WLD leaning one.OK bro, it's on! I'll wait until morning to get 'em wet. We'll soon unlock their secrets ?

Here are the Blueberry males: The one in the front was a Tartar Kush F3 that I culled. He was a handsome fella though. If I weren't already doing a seed project, I would have thought about letting him flower out. NOTE: There's only 2 BB males in this photo, but both were really similar.

Here's some notes on the Tartar Kush F3 that I took at about 4 weeks into flower:
She smells of granny smith apples when you put your nose next to the flowers. The structure of this plant really surprised me, because I expected something more dense, and indica like.
Here is something that I wrote about the re-vegged cut that I took:
Tartar Kush F3. Reveg.. She's the smelliest plant in the garden right now. I've not decided what to do with her. I might hide her outdoors somewhere this summer.
Here is that cut at day 35:

Here is my notes on the plant at that time:
Had to get a pic of that Tartar Kush F3. She has got a sweet floral scent, but with a permanent marker smell on the back end. It's really hard to pin down her smell. She definitely doesn't smell like the mother did..
When I initially grew the female Tartar Kush F3 out, I grew her in a 3 gallon pot. She had massive 11 fingered fan leaves. It was awesome!!

If I were to guess, there will probably be a lot of short squat dense WLD types in this line, but you never know how the genes are going to line up. The Tartar Kush F3 was definitely potent though.
Wide Leaf Drug. It's a way to say what essentially would be called an Indica. The cannabis classification system has been changing over the last few years, and though I'm not the most up to date with it, I did pick up the term. NLD is Narrow Leaf Drug, for example.Sounds just like what I'm looking for.
WLD?
