Hehe I stopped bouncing about 20 years ago . Now I crunch ! and not very well
I went ass up recently at work and somehow didn’t get hurt . A few bruises but it could have been way worse . The mind is still good but the body is not matching
Like the pain isn't bad enough and then add the embarrassment on top. I've been thereNo spectators, but I instantly thought “you stupid mfker”!
There was no pretending, that hurt.
I did postpone my trip to town… for a couple of days.
I did a full faceplant a couple years ago on a lake and was so lucky I didn't get fucked up
I had built a way too heavy shack and was trying to pull it on glare ice. I leaned into the rope, my weight went forward, my feet slid back and WHAM. My left cheekbone took the worst of it, but even that was minor. Stood up, checked for significant damage and when I didn't find any, back to fishin'.
Considering it was over an hour's drive to the nearest medical facilities, I was extra lucky.

Just looked at the upcoming genetic designer drop at GLG and call me crazy, but $7000 for a pack of seeds is insanity. Does anyone actually pay those prices??
Its FANG so Im sure someone will. Theres only one pack of each cross so someone will buy its just to say they have the only pack, or hunt it and sell the bud as exclusive to their dispensary or whatever.
Seems bonkers to me though. Especially since none of the crosses seem all that exciting or innovative.

I think the one in stock thing is just a inventory thing because the actual seeds never go to the seed banks just the orders. FANG ships direct to customer. If some idiot wanted ten packs I guarantee they would be magically available lol

I briefly met both of the former GGG alums in person at the Emerald Cup. The second they figured out there wasn't money falling out my ass, my questions got a nod towards the pamphlets. Not my favorite buisness model, but I can say I didn't have enough of a conversation to make any judgements on them personally.

It's rare that I pay less. Everything I breed with is above 5 Gs. I say that the genetics are more average man $$ because I don't want to be perceived as elitist.

Same Emerald Cup 15 minutes later....I walk up to the Aficianado booth with a small nug of Black Lime Reserve I had grown from a clone I happened upon by luck 2 or 3 days after reading about it in skunk magazine. Who is the first person to greet me...Frenchy Cannoli. I mention the nug, he insists that I present it, he sniffs it takes it over to Leo Stone, brings him over and they walk me through every question I had. At the time I literally had no idea who frenchy canoli was. Thats where and when I got my Olispill seeds. After I bought some seeds Frenchy fired me up a fat ass hash hit of double cherry limeade. Fuck, I still can't believe he is gone.

Hard to believe both him and Sub were gone pretty well around the same time . I just started in the last few years to watch , listen and was kind of intrigued by these two and then they were gone . Frenchy for his passion and Hash making skills and Sub for well just being Sub . The weed nerd was always up to something interesting and stayed true to himself and his ways . Was kind of sad the way it all ended for him considering all he contributed even if you didn’t like him .

That Emerald Cup I met several legends who are no longer with us including Subcool, BOG, and Frenchy. It was an experience i will always remember, it was the first time I really saw cannabis culture for what it is. The music was amazing too. Stick Figure opened and then Stephan Marley put on the best reggae show I have been to. Great times.

Its nothing more then selling ad space for banners like the DCSE one thats been up for a while. At the moment that ad is free for them as a trial run full disclosure.
And theres no paid supporters or anything like that. This isnt an RIU situation where you have to pay to promote yourself. Its just the site does cost money to host and maintain, and at the moment that all just comes out of Spys pocket. And all of the giveaways are funded by him and donations from other mods and breeders. As the site grows thats just not sustainable. Hes not a trust fund baby as far as Im aware. Money has to come from somewhere, and ads are a fairly inobtrusive and passive way to earn some revenue to maintain the site and continue to do awesome giveaways and contests. Any other solution would have to be more proactive, like fundraisers and collecting donations, which are certainly options but have their own drawbacks.
By the way Im speaking off the cuff here, I wasnt a Mod yet when this plan was put into action, but thats my understanding of things.
