MeanWell HLG-320H-36B Driver

Max current: 8.9A can power 36V COBs at the following approximate wattage (actual wattage varies slightly by particular chip -please note driver has a hard limit of 36V and cannot drive CXB3590 above 2.1A. CXB3070 above 1.6A, CLU048-1212 above 1.2A, or Vero29-D above 1.3A):
5@1.78A (~64W ea) (CXB3590)
6@1.48A (~52W ea) (CXB 3590, CXB3070)
8@1.11A (~40W ea) (CXB 3590, CXB3070, CLU048-1212, Vero29-D)
10@0.89A (~30W ea) (CXB 3590, CXB3070, CLU048-1212, Vero29-D)

My cob are the CLU048 12-12

I read it as If I try and run less than 8. They will be at the same 1.2 amps as the 8. only doing 40 watts. not 48 watts at 6 or 75 watts at 4
Am I missing something. And Sorry for the Questions. But Thanks for Being Here.

So I got a email from the place I am buying from. He recommended

MEAN WELL HLG-185H-C1400B

Wiring the lights in series.
Any thoughts on this.
This is the same light I built with the exact same components.
The HLG 185H-c1400B is a great dimmable driver. I have it at 50W per cob paired with the (4) Citi 1212's in series and it cranks!
I had a pot on mine, but took it off because I found I always had it wide open and the pot reduces the max output of the driver by probably 10% even when all the way up vs no pot at all.
