I'm planning on running that in one of my next rounds :) The Chocolate Cheese I've gotten two distinct looking plants; One is not sexed yet and is MASSIVE (I can't see the top) and the other is a bit shorter and looks not unlike an Indica leaner. Both have a wonderful smell. The smaller one is for sure female and I'm pretty excited about it :)

By the way bro Cheesing is a MONSTER! I seriously hope it's female because man.... The stem.... Whew! Can't wait :) I've wondered what would happen if a Cheese was bred with a pure Indica and now I know! Massive growth spurts that seem to appear almost over night.

Tashkurgan is also now bulking up in size but it went out late (I figured a pure Indica would be fine in Michigan as the Fall temps dropping would be not unlike it's natural environment assuming I can keep the moisture level low).

Awesome! The Chocolate Cheese is a favorite with my friends. I usually harvest the Chocolate Cheese in the 2nd to 3rd week of September when grown outdoors.

Last fall the Tashkurgan did excellent in all weather. No powdery mildew and No bud rot!

I imagine I'm gonna love it too bro :) I've yet to have a Cheese I didn't LOVE.

That Tashkurgan I get worried about mainly because it's very much my first ever pure Indica. I've literally never grown a strain like that before (All we usually have are hybrids) so I find myself being worried about watering it too much, but normally I smoke a Blue Cheese and look at it like "OK, settle down, it's OK, the plant is doing fine!" LOL. When I think about the Weather in Afghanistan on the border of China I think cool and dry, but I also know the plant is doing good so I try not to worry too much.

I was kinda sad I couldn't run that Chocolate F2 though! I simply didn't have room really, and after looking up exactly what you used... Man I'm looking forward to giving that a go too! And that PUA I have.... Again I'm a little sad I couldn't run that yet, but it's on my list for the next batch. I try to actually keep my number of plants legal, an so I had to cut some of the stuff I ad planned on running at first simply because I had too many LOL. But yeah bro that Chocolate AND that Pua are on the list of running soon :) They both sound stellar from what I've read so I'm really hoping I can get a batch of each of those going.

Wife smelled the Chocolate Cheese before it got massive and said the strain's name was pretty descriptive and I think she's right :) Now all I have to do is remind myself NOT to cut a bud off once they start flowering because of wanting a taste haha.

The Tashkurgan is a pure Indica from Northern Afghanistan. Growing outside, I did find that the buds were not as large and dense as something like Deep Chunk or the chunkier Indicas. The finished bud density was more like DJ Short's Blueberry. The finished bud size was similar to a 50/50 Indica/Sativa hybrid.
I treated the Tashkurgan like a hybrid and it did fine.

Outdoors: Watch the top cola on the Chocolate Cheese when approaching harvest time. The Deep Chunk grandfather makes the buds very dense!

Look at those skinny leaflets! So glad to see these getting some sun, I never would've gotten around to running them lol.

Garden is looking great Jim, keep crushing it!
Thanks for the encouragement! Had a bit of a rough time this last month, but have pulled out of it now and I'm back on track.
Isn't it interesting how life goes up and down, and around and around? I realized I haven't been smoking enough pot. ?

I can hardly wait for the Yunnan to finish! So far it is my favorite Sativa.

I'm not worried about the density :) I'm more interested in the smell and the effects personally. I'm also super excited to have an actual Indica for the first time ever !!!

The Chocolate Cheese I can kinda already see how it's going to do that, and to be Honest I feel like the way Cheesing is going, it may well do the same thing. REALLY hope that Cheesing is Female haha! Thing shot up like.... It went from being a normal sized plant to being like over a foot taller than I am literally in the course of a few days.

I think that Massive top cola thing must be a Cheese trait because this was a Blue Cheese Cola on top from last season:

And this was another Blue Cheese from last season:

I put all my Cheese except maybe 4 seedlings under the wooden structure because it helps support them so they don't fall over LOL.

I think it's a Cheese thing having a huge top cola that makes it lean a little haha.

It sure is! Both of these comments resonate with me pretty strongly at the moment. Definitely in a downswing at the moment and I keep forgetting to take my medicine... gonna go spin up a little something right now I think! Appreciate the reminder ?
