if you don't have to work for anyone else and don't mind seclusion, the area around center hill lake is beautiful and the prices are still reasonable.

i personally found the real estate situation around nashville to be impossible so i am in a neighboring state where the prices are much lower.

southern kentucky around franklin 45 min north of nashvegas is very reasonable price-wise.

and northern alabama is beautiful terrain north of the river. it is the ass end of Appalachia. huntsville al is a very high tech town because of the nasa marshall space flight center and the army's redstone arsenal and missile development center. all the defense contractors are there. two universities.

the patriot missile system was developed there.

in 2021 huntsville was listed as the third most desirable place to live on a list of the top 20 in the u.s.

property still reasonable and a good quality of life.

but be forewarned that if you are a white liberal you will have few friends in the white community. the black folks in the deep south are generally pretty nice people.

some dumb fucks are still fighting the civil war around here.

i'm building right now on a secluded one acre site. i will have about 150k involved in the land and the house when finished. it will instantly be worth about 350k completed.

I'm a self employed plumber so my only real criteria is living within 20-30 minutes away from a city of 100,000 plus people so I can run a business. I'm also a little right of Attila the Hun so I'm guessing I'd be right at home anywhere in the South? There's a million reasons to hate people, skin color doesn't make my list. I'd prefer Alabama as it's further South but the wife is stuck on Tennessee. I'd like to be able to hunt and fish on my own land.

I've watched the price increase but hasn't bothered me as ours continues to climb.

I've got 2 real estate companies emailing me listings every week and in 5 years there hasn't been a property close enough to what we want to get us out there to take a look. I bet we end up dying here in cali. Could be worse.

Yes, as a country we're in deep shit. I've seen the changes happen with my own eyes here in sunny so cal. I'm pretty libertarian on most issues, leave others be, and want the government out of my pocket and my life. Those high ideals espoused by our Founders are dead and it's just a matter of time before this once great experiment ends. I'm also a life long student of history, poor me? but if we get too far into the weeds the mods will shut us down. Can't blame 'em, I get it this place is for the grows and an awesome place at that so...

Or thumb hash as the case may be. Yesterday while shuckin seeds. This is the reason for those silicon grinders but I prefer scraping hash off my digits. Ya know this is how hash is still made in some parts of the world but by using both hands. Black on the outside and brown inside. Smoked my share of it in the 70's & 80's and tastes great today?

The government public education system has been teaching what to think NOT how to think and it seems what you have noted here is the fruits ripening from the seeds they have been planting for the past 50+ years. I am holding out hope that there is enough of us to overcome the assault.

I moved the Funky Runts

to the lg greenhouse. These are from a deformed Magnum Flames auto that hermed and made 27 fem seeds. Smelled/tasted like a dirty dishrag and sweet. Believe it or not it was awesome. This is the third grow and not one has hemmed like mom and there's no young females in the greenhouse anyway. They can be harvested any time just as the MF'ers and Gophers. Trichs are all opaque/cloudy on all of 'em so really anytime. I just finished a couple weeks of manicuring the last dozen with any/all free(?) time I had. In no big rush?

Time to fire up a fatty
and dull some of this pain I'm in. A vodka or 5 won't hurt either?

Got some seeds but not a lot like the Whitebread auto. Totally struck out with BW x Dental Assistant, no seeds but it's all good. I ? the Toof.

The monthly auto grows will begin again June 1st. Last year I started Thanksgiving day and the MF'ers growing are my end of January planting. I had so much else going that it was just an extra burden getting it dried and manicured but now with the new seeds I could grow nothing but autos (the original plan) and harvest 4-6 little plants a month and be happy. It could happen but my setup is killing the grows and I'm just along for the ride, really so hell, should I try to grow 100 at a time? Never done that before. Never stuck a screw driver in an electrical socket either so there's that.

Okay, 2 vodkas down and too many bt's to count and just starting to feel better. Damn, bad hurt tonight. Figure not working tomorrow, making brownies or oatmeal raisin cookies tomorrow. Hummm...

If I'm able to get around this weekend I'm going to up pot a Gorilla Hammer, a Mother's Milk, a Black Abyss, a Captain's Candy and a Purple Pounder. Best girl will go from rags (solo cup) to Riches (3 gallons coco coir) and join the 3 BBHP's as mom's.

Butter came out great. 7gm flower and 3gm sugar leaf off GDP. Cooked 4 hrs on high (210F) in a slow cooker

And then 8 hrs on low (110F) overnight. Should make these great for milk and cookies before bed?

Solar lights with multiple settings on the tent and Dollar Tree 6 solar flower lights, 1 pineapple light and a pink flamingo light.

It was fun watching people drive by and checking out our campsite.

Poor things were not watered while we were away and the 2nd female may not survive although she and her sister should have some mature seeds. We'll see.

The others are all sexed and I extended light to 14.5 hrs a day.

The Captain's Candy is pretty bad. All of them were on their sides dry. Hopefully he'll come around.
