Smoke's Grow & Show

What a coincidence I just posted in your thread! Lol
Amazing when I actually turn the notifications on for here!! Hahaha, apparently I hadn't since the new phone, so I probably missed some stuff and I know I was Hella late getting to a friend here too. My apologies any and everyone whom I left hanging, not intentional.

So after hang drying for a week in the cardboard boxes they felt "dry enough" to place into paper bags. I'll probably give them a week or two in the bags, trimming/manicured a little each day then onto the mason jars..
Speaking of drying, I've had these Herbs Now dryers for a good few years now, holds a good amount in each unit and they're only like $200,compared to a cannatrol that's silly cheap. Anyway, I was surprised by how well they work. Check em out if you are dying to get a new toy. It looks like a food dehydrator, but it's thermostat runs it much cooler. Anyway, photons random tip of the day! Haha

I don't have $200 to just throw around right now. But I appreciate the advice. I've heard mixed things when it comes to herb dehydrators, glad it works for you.

Hahaha, me either haha. I'm not sure on the dehydrators too much, but this one is specifically for cannabis. Runs much cooler than traditional dehydrators. But I have to agree, hang drying while not only free, is also the best way in my opinion haha. Stoked on a smoke report my friend, thanks again!

Just curious really: Do you know which cut of GSC Archive used in this cross. 🤔 Had a friend grow out Samoas (forum cut X face off) a few years back. It was all he would talk about for a while. Lol 😆
It was Berner's cut of GSC that was used in the cross according to the guy I bought the clones off of from Strainly. I believe the Face Off OG came from Archive but I'm not 100% sure.

What I like about this strain is it stays short and stout, barely any stretch. It grows out more horizontal than vertical, like comparing a tree and a bush. I don't know if it grows naturally like that or because I used LST clips.
Speaking on the LST clips I highly recommend them, no strings getting in the way and they're just easy to use.

Only thing I don't like about this strain is the amount of fan leaves, every time I feed I find myself constantly trimming off fan leaves and lower branches - and I mean constantly!

Now those are some bushes, I had a big trim session yesterday. Any fan leaves blocking bud sites get cut off - it helps open up the canopy for more air/light.

Any lower branches that don't recieve adequate light also get chopped off, they just steal the plants energy when it could be going be going to the larger branches/bigger bud sites.

I also used some stakes and twine to open up the canopy for more light.

Also every time I water I change the positions of the plants, if one plant was to the right I'd swap it out and move it to the left. This is my way of ensuring all the plants get equal lighting.

In the smaller of the two tents I had to put in another 115 watt LED light because the 250 watt quantum board wasn't providing enough coverage for both plants.

The extra light I added is 110 watts, oops.
I actually got this light for free.. A few years back vendors on Facebook would give you grow lights in exchange for reviews on Amazon. You'd buy the product and they'd refund you the $$$ after you left the review - I scored three different grow lights doing that.
