Smoke's Grow & Show

Unfortunately the 79' Xmas Bud and Triple O.G. seedlings didn't make it, i had a fungus gnat problem that i now just got under control.

Chimera's Blurred has some of the biggest fan leaves i've ever seen, it may be a male and if it is i plan to hit my GSC x Face Off with it's pollen because it has some crazy vigor.

The Jack's Peaches made a real turn around, it started off with some mutated growth. It does have this weird looking fan leaf, pic below. I found a seed of it in some bud I picked up at the dispensary. The suspense of how it's gonna turn out is killing me.

I personally don't like autos . My first couple grows were autos and they always lacked in the smell and taste department . I know some people love them and they have their place but I wouldn't waste resources on plants that can be just ok at best . If you do happen to stumble across a great 1 that's all you get . Just 1

I think auto flowers have their place - they just don't work in my setup and how I'm used to doing things. I can see how they'd be an attractive option for a beginner grower.

If I had a small patch outside they'd be perfect for a low maintenance crop, but i live smack dab in the over populated concrete jungle so alas... 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

A bonus for autos is low ppfd needs and to be able to even run the light 20-24hrs a day, more time on better for autos but less ppfd than non auto’s ( think of where they evolved ) plus since less ppfd less food to give . For a starter grower and just wants to be super simple , success gurateed for most part and u could easily make it only 1-4 top dressings for whole cycle and just water . I know if I never grew before and u could eliminate all the info required to grow it besides sprinkle a few times some organics , water em when dry and not much environmental adjustments . key is the autos want more light hrs on but not high ppfd

for me my outdoor zone is way too rainy for the time it would be useful , indoors I can easily turn plant to 12/12 hr cycle and control its flower cycle but also how big it is. just saying for someone who wants meds and doesn’t care about learning and wants as much sucess as can be maybe autos and using a simple dosage and 24/7 hr on with 500-750 ppfd np at peak.

I've been leaving the lights on 24/7 and will be until they're done. I like to move around the pots every day to ensure all the buds get even coverage. Still feeding Sweet Candy and will be until chop, I don't believe in the "science" of flushing.

I would of quit a long time ago if I wasn't! Haha

But yeah autos aren't bad, it was just a learning curve with me because I've always ran photo period strains.
Yup, the first three weeks are pretty uneventful haha, but that's the fun part as 80% of total growth etc, is all in those last four weeks or so. Thank you tremendously for the support my friend!!! Great job!!
