Just really good to see you Athena, and that you seem to be feeling better after your Aunt Flo madness Hell yea on the 2 decks, would love to see em. Man I gotta get out there n just ride. I will probably fuck up and fall a few times, but it's ok I got a super high pain threshold even though I'm old now lol. Once the heat calms down I will make it a point to get out there even if it's just for a bit. I really miss skating. It was therapeutic for me in a sense. Helped clear my mind of stuff as I rode, and also got me to think of things in a different manner vs "non skate" if you know what I mean.

I like to walk the dog for a lil pre skate warm up , smoke a joint, and then spend about 1-3 hours just skating depending on the heat. Set out one or two goals to accomplish and then call it a day once ya hit them. I used to skate heavy in middle school then depression hit in high school and I stopped. First two weeks back on the board my legs were just sore but ya gotta know when to take a break and then get back out there. I’m finally getting my kickflips down!

but this deck is 8.25 but the trucks I had/have are for 8.0 so I needed a new deck or new trucks.

anyways I wasn’t feeling that at all and I was trying to support Samarria, ya know Girl Power and all that, so I finally ordered:

Also picked up some new formula fours as my old ones were toast. It doesn’t end there. Once I set this board up I realized the wheels weren’t working with the ground I was skating on so I ordered some softer wheels. Then I picked up new trucks for the bigger board. I don’t even like the bigger board. Way too long and heavy. Check out Ben Dogros on YT; he explains boards in a way I didn’t know was possible but after watching his videos everything made sense.

That was a lot.

I’m also hoping my dog gets better but there’s a chance he may have epilepsy. Fingers crossed he doesn’t.

That's awesome you're landing kickflips. I can't even Ollie lol. I started later in life but always hung around skaters even at 8 years old back when the OG Tony Hawk, Powell Peralta, Bones Brigade, Vision etc boards with all the hardware were around. I finally started up after the current street skate design boards were around for awhile. I typically like big spitfires like 60s cuz they just roll better but if you're doing tricks the wheels aren't as forgiving it seems, at least that's what I've been told. What are your preferred truck brands? I've only had Venture and Independent. I wanna put together the Girl board I have which has no graphics but it looks and feels like a solid deck. That Samaria look hella dope w the hoop at the top of the half pipe lol.

I haven't used it yet. Got some from Twenty20 a few months ago. Comes dry in 2 parts. No expiration until mixed so was in no rush. Would definitely send it your way if you want to give it a shot. I can order more when ever I get around to trying for fem seeds. Reviews on it are awesome.

I’ll try the C.S. soon to see if it works, if not I’ll hit ya up.

I’ve had two Girl decks and I like them a lot and my next one will probably be a Malto deck. Now that I know exactly what size deck I prefer I feel like a new door has opened.

I’ve only skated Spitfire wheels 53mm 99A until the pair of Ricta clouds 86A I just received. They ride so much smoother on asphalt and are still a good size to do tricks. I would’ve got the formula four 80HD but 80 seemed a little too soft and they only had em at 54mm or bigger. I didn’t even know there was a difference in wheel hardness until two weeks ago smh. I’m already eyeing which Deck I want to buy next. I’ll be collecting decks the way I collected packs of seeds ?

I’ve been striking out when it comes to reg seeds lately. Started some Texas Butter and Chinook Haze a couple weeks ago and those will be the last reg seeds for a while.

Lavender Jones Clones are tall af now and need to be topped. I’ll probably reverse the tops. Time is the determining factor.

remaining Moon Juice and Bittersweet Clones will enter flower tent as it clears this month.

Started 3 fem seeds last week after suspecting the CCTs would be male:
•Ghost Cookies: Ghost OG x GSC by CSI Humboldt
•Peanut Sundae: Dosidos x Sundae Driver by Cannarado
•Apple Tartz: Runtz x Apple Friter by Clearwater

Well Chinook Haze is a boy and got chopped while both Texas Butters are women

The Lavender Jones 2nd gen clones all died during a fungus gnat takeover. I’ll get more when I transplant them to 2 gallon or bigger pots. These things are tall af and need some serious trimming but for some reason I’m hesitant.

Ghost Cookies, Peanut Sundae, and Apple Tartz were all topped. I need to get pics up but there’s really not much to see as the fungus gnat situation slowed down growth but they’re trucking along.

Now I need to decide what I’m going to germinate next. There’s a couple of strains I’m going to germinate for sure but I can’t decide which GG#4 gross to grow. Which one should I grow:
•91 Gorillas: GG#4 x 91 Chem
•Monkey Juice: GG#4 x Mimosa*
•GG#4 xChocolate Diesel

anyone have any CSI Humboldt, Cannarado, or Bodhi they don’t plan on growing? Im sure we can work some things out ?

I will check it out, thanks for the lead. I will probably never be able to do tricks, esp now lol. The girl board is in my office at work, and since quarantine I haven't been back too often. I'll measure it, but I believe it's 7.75". I used it as a background for powerpoint pics cuz of the nice griptape background lol.
53 is very small for me, I tried those before on the indy truck board and it it seemed like i was pushing more than i had to with the 60s. But I am down to try anything. I have tried branded and shop bearings, all abec 5/7, saw no diff. Ya the wheel hardness I was privvy to early on but didn't pay mind to it. Maybe I should have lol.

Board collecting would be awesome, to have a dedicated rack wall for it. Pick and go. BADASS. I would love a Bunrquist "hands" board. I haven't seen that since Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4. I asked the shops and they were like huh? I noticed you like Enjoi boards (panda). And yes this girl board seems different from the blanks I've had, I guess I'll know more once I put wheels on em.

Mine is citrus and spice, really floral... the high is really relaxing, great for muscle soreness (which is a constant for me, probably a good part of why I love it so much) but not couch lock at all... I have no problem staying motivated even after a fat cone

7.75was what I rode in middle school and I loved the smaller size but now my feet are too big lmao. These are my first Enjoi decks; never had them before. I buy decks base off which skaters I like so they get a lil cash. Before I’ve had Plan B Ryan Sheckler Deck, Plan B Paul Rodriguez , Krooked, DGK, and a lot of Girl decks. The team boards, boards with pros on them, can all vary in wheelbase and concave but be the same width. Like there’s multiple 8.25 Girl decks but only a few have 14” base wheelbase and 31.5 length.

Im loving these Ricta Clouds 86A. I need to ride em around the neighborhood for the real smoothness check. Might get the 76A just to see. When you get your deck I think some Independent 139s Trucks, in case you decide to move up to 8.0, or Thunder 145. Oh yeah, Thunders are lower and lighter than Independent trucks but since you like bigger wheels i’m sure you already use riser pads.
