Any thoughts about relief from Neuropathy?

I've given up extra sugars, breads and only smoke every other day {still have to taste test!}. I'm taking Lion's Mane extract capsules and doing what I can to right this ship.

Deeper research suggests eliminating all cooking oils , which is a good part of my current edible recipes. This is starting to hit a little too close to home. I do all I can to keep new pharmaceuticals at an arms length, at least if I can handle naturally !

I may have to locate a stoner monastery, or maybe, I'll start my own!

I feel like if I had stuck with western medicine this might have been one of the diagnoses. That's not to say the condition does not exist, but the western style is to monetize it. It seems this rubs off on fields like accupuncture and chiropractors but mostly to the extent that those folks are tryin to make a living vs. the medical machine.

Sorry for the rant, finding good practicioners regardless the skill is crucial. The nervous system is a tricky beast, I think many of these modern conditions are the result of our accumulated adaptability.

What I mean by that is we work our way around the inconveniences. A broken arm as kid, shoes that don't fit quite right, occupational stresses... Our bodies are mushey and adaptable, but that doesn't mean they are in effeccient alignment.

I've found Rolfing helpful and think it may help you @Rozgreenburn

Regarding the cooking oils, you just want to limit the amounts of omega 6’s, and add more high oleic omega 9’s and 11’s(olive oil, specialty bred high oleic sunflower and canola). our bodies need the Omega 6, but the western diet has an over-abundance and it causes inflammation throughout our bodies.

As a type 2 diabetic this whole subject frightens me.. My dad's type 2 as well and had neuropathy in his feet, he told me it felt like getting bit by a colony of fire ants. Gabapentin helped some, but over time it went away on it's own. How that's even possible idk.

I don't use much oil, except for my edibles. I've been using coconut oil for quite some time. I've only got another gallon or so, and then I'll start with a healthier alternative.

It's a type of massage that focuses on body alignment. If the practioner pushes you to sign up for a series, run away. As a side note I think an HSA is a great option cause it let's you spend pre-tax money on this kind of stuff, but they aren't for everyone.

For me it helps my body communicate with itself. Would you belive me if I say your tib-fib joint in your leg has massive impacts on digestion? They don't directly use meridians like an acupuncturist but to me, the concept is very similar.

All the symptoms I hear on the radio for neuropathy just sound like the nervous system is overloaded or misfiring and interaction over the nervous system is largely influenced by our body mechanics. That's why I think this type of massage can be helpful.

Looks like Rolfing, was a another type Fascia exercise, well maybe not exactly.
It was mentioned in the wiki, after I highlighted and searched the word Rolfing.
Maybe the Fascia is our natural Still Suit, assembled under the skin, getting us ready for Earth to become Dune.

I agree.

There's fascia that wrap nerves and bones and provide the smoth condiut for information and blood to travel through our bodies. I haven't found one exercise or thing that addreses everything and dont think there is only one or any one grand fix. Using vegas nerve resets and rolfing has really helped me, more so that deep tissue massage and dry needeling

After more imaging, the Doc wants to go with angioplasty{?}. expanding the artery with a balloon. They only want to work on my left leg, which is the bigger problem. I still intend to up my attempt at fixing my issues with diet, exercise and some yoga.

Who the fuck decided to call these my golden years? If I find out who, it's a big punch in the nuts!

Wow! Now will that angioplasty be for your legs not healing cuts or is it for the bursitis/arthritis aspect? Last week, I got bursitis in my left knee, first time, and I'm still fekked. And that is some unreal painful shit there for a couple of days. For you younger guys......bursitis in your knee feels like somebody worked your knee over with a ball peen hammer. :)

My only angioplasty story goes like this.....mid 90's I was doing new entrances on a fairly old condominium complex. So, I have to get choices and what not from the inhabitants.......I go to unit 34 A on an appointment and when I got there.....the front door is wide open......and I can see the guy sitting in his chair and I'm knocking and talking to him thru the screen door. This guy is not answering me and it dawned on me that he just might be dead......so I really banged HARD and nada. I called 911. They came and took him out of there in an ambulance...and I just figured him for dead.............but I think 2 days later he was back to normal. They did angio on his heart or whatever.
To this day I can see that mofo sitting there...freaky shit........but the guy was back in biz even joking about it.

So anyway, that might just work for you.

Basically, my lower legs aren't getting enough blood flow to allow for normal healing. If this does not help, I'll need to find a guy who is a size eleven, that only needs left ones!

Bursitis in the knee sounds brutal. I hope you can find some relief.

Your feet should expand through your life. Stuffing your foot into the same size shoe is binding your feet. If your feet aren't aligned your ankle is not stable and it just continues through your body. The fascia needs to be involved in your balance. The foot is perfectly designed for this, the modern shoe isn't.
