Ya we made a mess the first go...my helper used butter for the brownies instead of the oil, so those had a weird ass texture... The cookies came out pretty good though. Then I made a second batch of butter, used a half oz and some keif... I had been drinking and she was high as shit... We tried doing a brownie bottom with cookie top deal. Did oil on the brownie then my ass ended up dumping all the butter for the cookie part, which was twice what the recipe called for. *Sober only activity only from here on out*?

The solo female MGC got moved to the big tent. The two doods got stripped buck ass nekid and and moved to the bathroom for collection... Trying something new with the plates and stripping this go. Stripped to reduce the pollen that lands on the fan leaves and get stuck, now they can bust and just land on the plate. This will/should make collecting as well as cleaning easier than my past attempts. Leaving em up high as so will also remove the need to mess with moving them when I need to water. Let's see how this plays out shall we?!

With them being out the small tent, that made room for the seedlings to take up residence.

Getting nice early smells from a few. The louder stand outs were the Banana Fruit Snax and the Slymeball F1 plants. The four bigger ones to the left. Arise x Slymeball by my buddy @Idlewilder is getting there as well, two bigger ones to the right. All the rest are in the smaller/younger side of things, but I'm sure they'll show up soon!

Thanks bud! Not gonna lie, the stripping idea came from Buck's write up on how he pollinates. I always get frustrated with them busting all over the fans and getting stuck there instead of dropping into my collection utensil(s). Once I read he strips the fans right before collecting it just clicked in my head like "wtf, of course, why haven't I thought of this?!" Then, I was gonna just put the plate on top of the pot then thought, this is gonna pain in ass when I need to water and might soak the plate and pollen. So I raised em up and they hold themselves in place... sooo, we're just gonna have to find out how it goes aren't we!?

Couldn't get it to focus properly... Very annoying!

Anyway, been in jars for roughly 10 weeks now. Just took a couple bong rips...ya, she gets it! Choked pretty hard on the first. Instant head rush/change. Second one, felt warm feeling that started in the back of the head and circled around, then broke a couple sweats, very relaxing and focusing.

Gonna make some more butter right now and adding some of this, about 4 grams, to about 10 grams of the HammerHead buds. Gonna start doing/eating more medible stuff...Cooking and baking with infused inputs.

It's fun and actually falls into line with something I've kinda secretly wanted to do with my life. I wrote it down years ago. I'll have to dig out my notebook but...I love cooking as well as eating. I love MJ. I love and have had the thought/dream of a closed-loop/zero-waste (grow in general, but want to up ante so to speak) restaurant type deal. Where every part of the plant is put to use with absolutely zero waste. Thc and cbd molecule infusions from top shelf only buds in the foods and drinks. Primo fan leaves used in salads and as garnish. Stems and non-primo clippings that aren't processed by me go back into the soil....where they'll get processed by and contribute to the soil food web. Closed loop, zero waste, everything is put to use. Who knows if that pipe dream will ever come to fruition but... Anything is possible, right, and it's nice to think of doing something that's greater than myself.

Anyway, I'm high n done babbling... wasting too much time, I have work to do and some tri tip to grill!

Ya, hadn't thought of that. I'm sure the taste would be strain dependent. I don't know if I'm weird for this but I like tasting/eating fans when I strip my plants. I can't be the only one that does that?! I've noticed that different cultivars carry different flavors and textures...as one could only imagine. Some actually taste pretty good...not all of em, but some really do and I enjoy them. I like the ones with a crispy, juicy petiole and sweet flavored leaf.

Thanks buck! I'm thinking of dropping a few more to see what else is in there. I let my other two cuts die off...#1 was a neglectful accident, and #3 was just lazy-willfull neglect. #5 is in the flower tent for another round, but my backups I took a few weeks ago didn't root. Been cold in the bathroom and I missed a few waterings, so they didn't end up rooting. I might reveg her but not 100% sure yet.

I have so many beans to go through and such little space. I wanna get started on popping more beans from my friends... They interest me a bit more. But I don't want all the packs I've accumulated up to now to go to waste as I still have interest in them and am also already financially invested. And, keeping cuttings around and alive is becoming a bit of a chore and taking up valuable space that I could be using for popping more beans and making my way through my stash. I figure, at least for the time being, I'm not gonna worry too much about keeping cuts. If I like something, I'm gonna shoot for making beans for preservation and sharing and then moving onto the next pack and repeat. If something is an absolute stand out, I'll probly reveg then take cuttings if it's that special...Maybe send some out to others to keep it alive and well. We'll see

I do this too. I find that the base of the leaf stem gives a good idea of that the flowers will taste like. I mainly chew on the stems

This is like deja vu to me. I came to this conclusion a while back myself. So much gear so little space. Besides the seeds being made as I go. I agree with you that re-vegging keepers are a good way to move through more genetics. I am also thinking it will open up my eyes to what is a "real" keeper as I compare everything to each other. Another aspect that I am using (and I see you are as well) is building a library of pollen. For now, it does slow down flower productions but in the end, I believe it will allow for some special pairings. Well, that's the goal at least but for now, it will help push things in the right direction.

Exactly my same thought process right here! Need to move through and experience a wide variety of cultivars and start incorporating more stuff that you guys and I are making. Find some real gems and make more babies. That's what interests me right now.

You just had to talk me into it didn't ya?. As you already know the initial 3 I popped were all females. Now I got an itch to pop some more and see...Damnit, lol! I'll probly need to wait til I get all the babies sexed first...well that just sounds weird ?...to see what I end up with so I can determine if I can manage them properly. I usually expect my annual inspection at home around this time of year... They didn't come last year so I've kinda been on edge with the numbers I run. Especially around this time in case I need to bust down and hide them on the fly. But, yeah, I'm sure we can make that happen in the near future here.

Candied oranges you say...I have had this too..
and saved the seeds I found from it. It was a candied orange smelling pheno of DoubleDose that I found a few seeds in...and labeled as such

Not entirely sure where the pollen came from on that one honestly, was an accident, without digging into old notes. ..see what else I had going at the time, but the female buds from the mother plant were very enjoyable... Enough to where I saved them and wrote that they were candied terps

...Just remembered, that run I was playing with the Slymeball and Whipped Bananas pollen, so that candied *correction* OrangeDose (by Doc's Dank) not DoubleDose (by Greenline)...clearly written on the bag, LMAO! Must have caught stray pollen from one of those as I don't remember any intersex traits. I always seem to get those two mixed up. Probly cause I ran both of them on the same run and they're both orange dosi crosses. Those buds were superrr tasty! I'm sure Buck n Idle remember that run... That OD was quite the looker. Here's a nug shot right before harvest.
