After long hard thought, I gotta correct my last correction. The photo I posted was of OD, that part is correct. But I know for a fact that the seeds found in the candied terps nugs came from the DoubleDose. The OD was certainly gorgeous but had like a subtle orange peel and hash terps. The DD had the standout flavor. I remember thinking to myself (since it was like the third or fourth cross of his I grew, and the slight disappointment in lack of orange terps in the OD) that that Orange Tree male dude uses in his stuff brings on killer terps. All the orange leaning plants from his line taste fuckin' awesome! I'll see if I can find pics of the actual candied orange plant...anyway...

All in a day's work. Got them those new shoes.

First up is Banana Fruit Snax #1 and #2. Side and top view before
Guessing#1 is female and #2 male, but only time will tell.

Fresh EWC, 2tbs of kelp, 1tbs alfalfa, 1tbs oyster, 1tbs rock phosphate, 1tbs mykos wp
Mix up well

Recycled soil for bottom half


Followed by layer of castings

Insert plant. Backfilled with recycled soil...top layered with castings.
These inputs, if memory serves me correctly, will take anywhere from 6-8+ weeks to breakdown in the soil which should get us through 2-3 more weeks of veg and at very least half- to 3/4 through flower but should be perfect timing for fade and senisence to induce for the finish.

Repeated the process on the rest and watered in... I'll post selfies and tent of the rest of the bunch tomorrow

I only grew 2 plants. They were both lookers and good smoke...I wouldn't necessarily rule them out tho. Just the orange terps I was anticipating didn't come through like I thought they would. I think that was my first run in my 4x4 and with new (cheap) lights that didn't perform like I thought they would... The ones I got and ran once,right before I got my QBs. But ya, distinctly remember the candied was DD. I think what I did was the OD ones are the loose seeds in the bag and the candied DD ones are in the orange vial, pretty positive that's what I did there. They were more special so they got the fancy orange vial.

Score!!I think this is gonna be my new method of keeping things around that I like to dip back into later, versus taking and keeping clones...at least for the time being and until I can expand my grow space.

Since I let most of my cuttings die off this past month or so, but still have some of them around in early flower...I'm gonna reverse my 10Fold cut by Jinx (GG4 x 9lb Hammer)...My Whipped oranges (Whipped banana x DoubleDose... Think my keeper Purgatory by Sub is in there also....Cherry Dosi by Greenline...maybe my 2 favorites from the HammerHeads I'm currently testing. Here's to adding more aspects to my addiction ?

I've never done it before, so hope it's as easy as it sounds and goes at least halfway decent. Fist full of beans and I'll be happy.

So, here's the 10Fold
I had 2 plants of the same cut so I'll dedicate/reverse the whole plant.

Here's my WippedOranges #5 cut Gonna try reversing just those bottom few branches and leaving the tops for sensi ? we'll see how that goes!

In the small tent. This is from my Slymeball F2. Super broad leaves, wasn't expecting that at all... Curious to see what they do. Not only that but, I noticed purple pigments on the bottom side of the leaves. The tops look normal. Not sure I've seen this before... Anyone know what's going on here??
The purple looks way more pronounced/dark in person than the photo shows...

Definitely wouldn’t expect to see such broad leaves on the Slymeball. Not sure I’ve seen the color like that either. What are your temps?

Yeah, it's crazy, not sure where the broadness is coming from. All three have em,l. Guess I'll have to look back at the genetic makeup, see exactly what's in it, and see if I can figure it out. It looks way different than the originals they're sitting next to. Yours look more like the originals in growth and leaf pattern also....so I'm over here scratching my head.

I haven't paid super close attention to temps in there but it has been getting a lot colder here. Temps are fine during lights on, but I suspect it must be dipping during lights out. Hopefully that's all it is, or maybe a pheno that turns to purple-black...idk, I'm just speculating here, but just hoping it's not a deficiency or causes any issues. I'll need to go do some research.

Same, I've had some like that too. They say F2s open the genetics up and it does have God's Gift maybe where the broad leaf is coming from. Also purple haze down in the lineage...perhaps a possibility of where the purple is coming from. Guess we'll find out in time! I usually leave the top of tent unzipped to help with air exchange. But I've been zipping all the way to keep the warmth up a lil better. Had to turn the house heater on the other day cause I was cold as shit, so I'm sure their footsies were cold too. Might have to throw in a couple clip lights for added warmth.

I second this. My original Sin City Juice male had some awkwardly wide middle blades as well. It kind of faded away as the blade counts increased.

Shaved some legs the other night in the baby crib... The remaining solos will get new shoes in a couple days time.

I do have some noticable yellowing on a few, but they look good for the most part. I'm thinking it's a ph issue (too much stuffs), vs an actual deficiency (not enough stuffs), as the recycled soil these were filled with were freshly re-amended...and I added a lil more at transplant. Maybe a bit much?I'm sure they'll get adjusted and pull through soon enough, but will wait, at least, for them to recover before I initiate flower.
Thinking these will veg at least another 3-4 weeks, and probly a couple more leg shavings, or so before I flip.

Now, the rest of the update is less than choice...

The bean making on the MGC (F2 V2) has come to a screeching hault...found nut sacs...10-15 I counted (and some were well hidden in amongst calyx) on the 'female' after noticing a couple turnt pistils. Immediately removed 'it' and hosed down the tent and all occupants. Didn't find any open sacs or pollen anywhere, that I could detect anyway....or any other plants affected after a quick check up. But I sprayed the tent and plants up n down 2-3 times, back to back, as soon as I discovered this.

Moved it to bathroom, sacs have been plucked. I will no longer be making seeds with this thing as planned but will attempt to see it through til end of flower if possible.... Unless it throws anymore man bulges?... first sight of one or any of that and and it's instant soil/microbe food for the taking in the recycle pile. Kinda sucks as I was looking forward to giving her a proper go on this run, but it is what it is... No use crying over spilt milk!

Haven't seen intersex in the actual dudes so far (and didn't see any on the first run/half pack either), just this one plant. So, I'll continue to collect for the time being, whether or not I'll use it, eh... Most likely NOT! Honestly. But still wanna finish the 'paper plate collection' experiment at least for shits n giggles.

Bittersweet. Kinda bummed honestly tho and can't help but wanna scratch all three of em, like right now, but...ah well... it'll free up a lil extra space. Probly just what I needed to make room for the reversals I'll be attempting here shortly...hey, that's an upside, so we'll roll with that one...all in the plan baby! ?

Imo, nanners are a result of environmental issues/stressors... usually growers fault. But, a female plant that throws actual nut sacks is a true herm...unstable genetics imo. Although it was, again, just the one plant in a whole pack it's enough to scratch using it any further and move on.

Ya, it's a bummer, the cross did seem very interesting. I'm just relieved that the rest of the tent isn't as far along in flower. Everything else is only like 10-14 days in I believe, buds just starting form. So I caught it just in a nick of time... Still kinda butt hurt tho...wasted a good 2+ months of my time and space that I coulda been running other stuff.
