So much frost. What are the dominant smells?
All the pHenos laid down a good coating of frost and each one is slightly different in aromas, sours and limes, reminiscent of the little rolled up sweet tarts, Meltdown dominant in that regard and all are fairly loud, generally louder than the mom.So much frost. What are the dominant smells?

I’m curious as well Will, what to do with all the frosty leaves?Hey Buck,
So, I've been drooling over your The Guillotine plants this whole grow, especially the purple pheno.
You are about to bring them down, which brought to mind a question.
In your photos there appears to be a large amount of frost on the fan leaves of those plants.
I have never had the pleasure of growing a plant that frosty and would be unsure of how to process it.
So, I guess my question is, 'what does one do with all those frosty ass fan leaves'?
Do ya smoke them? Vape them? Make hash? Make rosin? Make edibles?
(I only use edibles, so it wouldn't be an issue for me, but I am an oddity in my consumption method.)
I'm just curious.
I hope someday to be in your predicament.
These plants look amazing.
Cheers,
We save them, and when there is enough we'll make some hash with them. The spoils of war!!Do ya smoke them? Vape them? Make hash? Make rosin? Make edibles?
Did Mo move some to you? If not DM me and I'll get a pack out to you.I am dying to pop some
Sorry for the pesky questions...but...We save them, and when there is enough we'll make some hash with them. The spoils of war!!
We've tried both, I prefer bubble.Do you dry sift those fans for hash making, or do you use a wet method?
Bonkers. So pretty! The Guillotine (Meltdown x CandyMAC)
After combining these two awesome strains together last fall, I eventually decided to do a little in-house test run. The beginning started with me just checking germ rates since the seeds were still fresh. Most of them popped and I had room in the vej tent so I filled some cups. I had quite a few little seedlings going so I ended up culling down the group by selecting the shorter more compact pHenotypes. I killed about 5 before moving forward, 6 of them made it to flower, 3 of those were girls. My haphazard culling technique probably left me with a runt or two but all in all, it wasn't devastating. Not knowing what kind of stretch I have I didn't let these plants get too big before flowering and I know one of the pHenos could have used more vej time.
Here are the 3 girls I found:

Dark purples and pinks throughout the lineage so I'm not surprised to see a pHeno like this come through, what does surprise me is her bud size and overall yields. She almost doubles the bud size compared to the mom and is very close in frost density. Bud shape and aromas lean more to what I've seen from CandyMAC. Next up the runt.

This one leans toward the Meltdown side very hard. Aromas are almost exact to the mom along with the coating of frost. Bud size is piss poor, might be able to squeeze something out of it but I definitely would vej this pHeno longer if you like to smoke flowers. Going to be marble size and just enough to fill a pipe.

Good Mix of the parents here. Has that gassy lime aroma from the Meltdown but structure and buds of the CandyMAC. Yields will be decent and the frost coverage is on point.
All these are now down and hanging. It was a fun strain to grow and has me wanting to unpack more.
