Fat Man Can Grow

I think I’ve decided to do away with the “FatMan” name. When I was 380+ lbs it was fitting. But I registered on here with the “Primal” moniker and I’ve used it in every successful business I’ve owned:

Primal Pages - Comics

Primal Urges - Comics

Primal Studios - Photography/television production

Primal Edges - Knife sales

Ohhh and FatMan seeds already exists. So I’m thinking Primal Edge Genetics.... Also remember I KNOW I’m a YEAR or two away from being ready for a release. Just Preserving the 4 strains I created for myself (never thought of ever releasing anything until a few months ago) will take me a year if I’m lucky. It took me 6 years just to make them so I’m obviously a planner and I’m patient.

I want to take a moment and make a public apology to @Burned Haze. Him and I got into a debate (well I think he wanted to debate) and I reacted like a Dick. Things were said and people got pissed. I was not in a good place that day (PTSD) and BH caught the brunt of it and it was not called for. I’m sorry and no one should deal with the disrespect I dished out that day. Regardless of any perceived attitudes (which hey I was wrong about) my reaction was uncalled for and I’m ashamed of my behaviour. You’ll notice for a bit my post are manic and a little crazy. For that I apologize to the whole board. Nothing I said is untrue but most of it didn’t need to be said. I didn’t have a chip on my shoulder, an entire oak was sitting there and I look back on the posts I can’t delete and just shake my head. So BH again I’m sorry and hope we can put this behind us. All I can say or do to restore my honor here.
Thanks for “listening”

Are you doing Cal/Mag

I have to say man, you NAILED it. I’m used to giving my plants one good feeding of CalMag right before I flip. But that was with well water. I’m now using RO water and have learned that causes all kinds of CalMag problems. I’m now giving 3ml of CalMag every other watering and the lady is THANKFUL for it. Just wanted to give you the “props” you were due as you saw the problem for what it was. At first I thought it was my lights and that may have contributed. But regardless, GREAT call..... oh yeah, I was WRONG.... (man that hurt....J/K)

A couple shots from closer up and at a angle where you can see the tops better defined. I’m getting some stretch but it’s nothing I would call undesirable. If you look at the close up I posted last, you’ll see node spacing is not bad at all. I also boosted my lights up 10% and I’m not seeing any adverse reactions. As a matter fact transpiration is up. I know this because I have to set the AC infinity fan control on 7 to keep it around 45-48% RH. That’s 2 stages higher than I had to run it, up until I turned the wattage up this morning. Right now they’re getting 200 watts. I’ll slowly raise the wattage over the next 1.5-2 weeks until I hit 300. Providing the Lady tells me this is okay by only reflecting green and no wilting away from the light. About week 5-7 (depending how long she takes to mature) I’ll give her the full 400 watts. I watered today with 12 ml of Seaweed extract, 9 ml of Urb, 1 Tbsp of molasses, to a gallon of water. She was requiring food/water every 5 days on average. The last two have been 3 days apart and my run off is always about 10% so she’s using the same amount of water as she previously was. In other words.... She Happy!!!! Next watering will be plain water and 3ml of CalMag.

So I’m counting 20+ tops. She’s going to be huge and I can see she’s going to need a bit of food/energy to make them fat.
She put on almost an inch yesterday. So I actually boosted her another 50 watts and she seems to be happy. I’ll give her a couple days and then bump her up to 300. I’m thinking of adding a second trellis net just for support in a few days as well. She’s looking like she’s on the way to be a HEAVY yielder. This is my first time growing Gorilla Glue and I’ve read how it’s prone to hermies because of its parentage. This lady has taken every learning mistake I have thrown at it and thrived. As I found about LED intensity and RO water vs MH/HPS and Well water.

GG # 4, Day 12 of Flower and I’m already seeing some good trichome production.. She looks like she might be one Sticky B****!!! I bumped the lights up another 5% and she’s soaking it up. I’ll keep bumping them 5% every 2 days I should be at 300 watts by next Thurs. just under the 2.5 week mark (17 days).

I saw a post on this and thought I’d explain something for the people that do not know. This is not a deficiency, bugs, or pollination. It’s where something continually rubs up against the pistils. You’ll see it a lot on flowers that rub tent walls. In this case it was a leaf the rotary fan was blowing into the pistils on every pass.

To fix this I just tucked the offending leaf under. Problem solved.

I’m really digging the continual trichome production on day 13. I’m going to basically make every watering some form of feeding. With as many tops (25+) as I’ve trained her. The lady is going to need her energy to produce.

I left a little veg on the lower back of a few branches in case she turns out to be a keeper and I want to reveg.

I’m really liking the structure and not a lot of stretching between nodes. If it stays with this tight stacking on the nodes she’s going to be HEAVY.... I really should consider that second net.

Everything is fattening up nicely on day 14. She’s looking to be well into the stretch but she’s looking to be a medium short fat little lady. We’ll see...
