So I have 4 children. My middle daughter (23) and I have that special kind of relationship. She graduated Liberty University @18 with both a high school diploma and her associates degree. She started college at 16 in a true double enrollment program. ANYWAY the deal was if she did that it would be up to her to decide when to further her education if she chose to. Well in the last 5 years she’s gotten married and is now managing a Starbucks locally and she messaged me complaining about customers. Here’s my response.

When this grow is over I’m going to stop posting to it and start another. When I started this thread I had just been through an incident (the first ever) where I was fully “triggered” in my PTSD. I’m going to spare you (and me) and give you the short version. A Dr. WRONGLY tried to PHYSICALLY remove me from the property. I’m a 300 lbs man..... he was not even close. I’m not going to BS and say I showed him what’s what. Rather than rip him limb from limb like I WANTED TO.... I started crying uncontrollably and there was no removing me. The police were called and they chewed the doctor out when they found out EXACTLY what happened. Then I had a member of this board passively aggressively come at me because I “came on here bragging with no proof”. This resolved with staff deleting everything but not after this board member pretty much acted like a child following me all over the board and acting like an ass. Then I had a staff member deal with this in the most disastrous way. It literally triggered me AGAIN. I was literally accused of trying to split this board over the issue and was called by someone who admitted in the same PARAGRAPH I had PTSD a “drama seeker”. Ohhh and I deserved the bullying behavior, Earned it in fact!!! I literally was in tears again over a Fing board site. I have since put both those individuals on ignore and I’m over it. But if you read this thread it might explain some of the crazy sporadic posting and why I’ve tried explaining over and over about my “issues”.

My wife deals with multi-million dollar projects so to fuck with her (because she was an hour late getting out of her meeting) here’s how I told her I wanted pizza in the middle of her meeting, her response, and mine....

Well I broke down and did it. I’ve always used either the test kit you get from the pet store (older times) or the cheap “Vivosun” digital PH tester. These have always worked for me. But several of my friends have always pushed me to get a “smart” PH tester. Well now I’m not just doing this (breeding/crossing) for more than my personal needs. I figured I should go ahead and cave. Hope it’s everything everyone raves about.

I posted this on another thread but figured I’d edit it a bit and repost it here. I’ve told you a little bit about my accident but not the full extent of my injuries. So:

“I have a crushed left rib cage(67+ breaks/fractures front and back), shattered sternum with three separated ribs, My S-1 is blown, my L4/L5 stabilizers are fractured, over 6 compressed discs, My C7-C9 are micro fractured, and I have a pacemaker in my heart because the nerve damage is so bad when I lay down my heart stops for 40+ seconds which causes a hypoxia seizure. My left arm is permanently “pins and needles”. I have nerve pain all over my body at odd times. I’ve never had any surgery and am always in 7-10 pain levels. I laid a bike skidding sideways at about 65 MPH down about 10-15 feet from a unmoving car. The bike stopped..... I didn’t. I shot off the bike like a bullet slamming into the car with my left side at what they estimate was 55+ MPH. Now having said that the ONLY thing I do that doesn’t hurt is EAT!!! Then my ass gets SERIOUS type 2 diabetes?!?!?.... talk about taking the last bit of fun out of my life!!!!
I’m 13 years into this journey. A year ago I was 383, now I’m 292 and feel MUCH better. But I have to watch everything I eat. I can’t exercise or my BP goes to stroke levels 160/120+. I have a VERY high tolerance to pain. I wanted to go home the DAY OF my accident. So 16 hours after my wreck with all my injuries I walked across a room to prove I was ambulatory. So my weight loss was strictly portion control and watching what I eat.”

So I’m home alone as the wife has gone to get her hair colored. On the nights she goes out with her mother or gets her hair done. I make myself for dinner things she does not like and tonight I’m making MUSHROOMS!!!!
Jennifer can not STAND them. So I’m making MY (I’ve worked as a cook from prep to short order more places than I can count) Buttery Garlic, Onion, and Parmesan stuffed Mushrooms. I know we have some awesome cooks on this board so feel free to steal or improve (I’ve added bacon before and cheddar instead of Parm.) as you see fit.
You need:

A preheated oven to 400 with a cast iron skillet inside while preheating.

About 5-6 cloves of garlic finely minced and 2-3 green onion finely chopped.

Many stemmed and washed mushroom caps, careful not to break the cap when removing the stem.


Melt on low heat one stick of salted butter.

Add garlic and onions to butter plus 2 Tsp Goya Sazonador seasoning.

Add second stick of butter and turn heat up to medium.

Bring butter mixture to simmering boil storing often. Reduce heat to low and let simmer, stirring every couple minutes for 10-15 minutes until water cooks out of butter mixture.

Finished butter should look like this.

Remove hot skillet from oven and set mushroom within it.

Mushrooms continued.

Using a slotted spoon scoop the solids (garlic and onions) out of the butter placing some within each cap.

Then (using a regular spoon) fill each mushroom cap to the brim with butter.

Now take grated parmesan cheese and fill each cap. You want to push it down into the cap until it’s mixed with the butter and then top it off with a pinch. If you don’t do this part your cheese will just slide off while cooking. Put the skillet back in the oven for 25 minutes......

Grow update:
So the girl has just finished her first week of flower. I watered today and top dressed her with a mixture of things for her last feeding of high N.

I took one cup rinsed vermiculite.

Added 1 cup worm castings.

1 cup bio compost (no manure).

1 cup Det. Nut. Water only living soil.

1/4 cup Dr. Earth PG AP 4-4-4 and 1/4 Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4.

2 Tbsp Myco

I mix everything up with a wooden spatula to insure no clumps.

I was literally rushing to get this done before lights out will post rest tomorrow.
