So today is tent set up day. Everything except the fan is here. It should arrive on monday. This is my first tent setup, anything I should know before I build it to make it easier?
The tent should be fairly simple. Shake out the tent itself, figure out which side is bottom. Find and assemble the bottom part of the frame, should be 4 sides and four corners, and set it in the bottom of the tent. Assemble the vertical sections on the corners, likely 2 pieces each, and then assemble the top part(should be same as bottom). You now have a fully assembled "cage". Lift the tent into position and and zip as you go. It may be a bit tight the first time, and a helper may be useful here.

I haven't been following really closely, but I would suggest if possible to put everything but the plants in, including ventilation, and check access, ensure adequate power supply(not just watts but the number of outlets for fans, lights, and any other draws), air flow, and ambient temperature. You may find you need to re-plan your intake or exhaust or any other number of little tweaks that will be a pain in the ass if you have to move a bunch of plants every time.

Edit: Oh, and it's pretty simple to rig up an intake filter. I prefer using the larger duct holes but use the screened windows if necessary. I use a piece of ducting, some filter material from the furnace filter aisle, and a margarine tub with the bottom cut out. Two layers of filter, placed in the duct, and then held in place by the tub works great. I'm always amazed by how nasty the filters are when I change them. For the screened windows, I make a frame from cardboard, cut to the same size as the window on the tent and then I staple filter material to both sides. The velcro on the tent helps hold it in place, but I usually need duct tape or something like that to get a sufficient seal.

Good luck!

Does anyone have some tips on how to make the filter and fan fit in this little bitch. A pic of a 2x2 setup would be glorious.
You want to place the fan outside the tent. You can sit it on top and tape just make sure your ducting is taped up good, that’s what I do. Carbon filter usually in the top corner, back left with the opening facing right so you can easily connect the ducting would probably be best.
