Seeds are packed and ready to go. Timers for watering set. Bags by the door. No time to be f#ckin around when evac orders come. We are bouncing to my parents house for a few days just to get the kids out of the smoke. They are too small to be in this, air purifiers can only filter out so much. My 4 month old especially. I will probably be out of the loop for a couple days. Take care all.

This problem has gotten steadliy worse here since 1993 and protection for the spotted owl in our area. Logging stopped, which left the undergrowth to go apeshit and build rediculous levels of fuel. All that glorious habitat that they were so worried about saving is up in smoke. Hows that fuckin spotted owl now??? Thank yousierra club you assholes.

I watched the small town I lived in die economically. Went from a thriving mountain town dependent on logging and our lumber mill in the 80s to a spiralling death spin. The majority of the businesses in town are empty and there are almost no jobs. All so they can neglect the forest and ultimately destroy what resources they supposed to be protecting. Trees are a RENEWABLE resource.

Man, just finished the morning rounds and flower is upon us. Chem d x boo, avenue of the giants and candyhole are in flower and the rest will be rocking in he next week. The light dep ladies are just gonna stay out from here on out due to conditions. I am willing to live with whatever consequences that decision may yield. I will watch them as closely as I can. Any balls drop and they get the chop. The gorilla girls (Ghani and Hammer) and one of the Terp Towns are competing to be the frostiest.

Last year my brother came here from Santa Cruz...they had fires there last year...we sat in the living room and watched his girlfriend's parents house burn to the ground from a video feed mounted on a tree outside until that camera got taken out too...she cried for days.

Current AQI 704. Ash falling like snow. There are no flys buzzing, birds chirping, just deathly still and quiet. Spooky as hell. Fire is growing unchecked. 82,000 + acres. Good news is it looks like I knocked the russets out. New growth on the MILF looks healthy with white pisitils.
Gotta find some good in the bad. Where does it have to be when they make folks start evacuating?
