Thanks for the kind words, MO. I wish you and yours a great 2022. :)

--------------------------------------

Really liking the Korengal Kush so far. Beautiful sweet kushy taste and smell that I first ran across in some Northern Lights I grew from European-sourced seeds years back. It has a very strong indica stone that isn't too debilitating for me but would probably floor many lightweights.

I'm awful at describing smells, tastes and effects, I know that. Good thing I'm not a marketer. ;)

I vaped a couple bowls in the dynavap this morning and am pleasantly toasted. :stoned:

I'm going to have to cross the K Kush with my Cindy, just need to find a good KK male. While the Kush is definitely an indica, it has a euphoric, goofy high that should pair beautifully with my Princess.

Also need to get a pic of @Jewels BeaSTs up here. I popped all 5 and intended to keep the two best ones but all are thriving, making a tough decision. They are still small, but very robust and healthy.

The KKush is in the drying cab and just about ready to be jarred and the BBM is up to 49f and looking nice. The deep purple doesn't show up in the tent shots very well, but it is there. :)

She's still very much on the skinny side due to my earlier inattention, but smells amazing.

Got a little Romulan and a BST in behind, and either a KushBerry or another BST due to join them in a few days. It's hurts having empty space in there, but I'm trying to get the timing back so I'm chopping a plant every 15 days

Twenty-three days after emerging, the White Widow auto is doing well. She's been topped and is being cautiously defoliated. The first set of twisted leaves is presumably from feeding full strength from day 1.

The Jewel BeaSTs are just getting into flower. I'll wait until they are a little more developed before posting some shots of them.

I've got an extremely bushy Romulan getting close to done. It was a mom, and I was bad about defoliation, so instead of being a group of tops, it's more like a ball. /shrug :)
Looking forward to getting that fuel stank back into the selection jars.

Thank you kindly, for your words, and for going through the whole thread.
I'm not a big external validation guy, but it does feel good to be able to show off the results of my efforts. :)

You bet. Good work is easy to commend!

BTW, how's that custom cure/dry cab you built back in April working for you. Yours took me back to a fond memory of over-building my 1st plywood veg cab. It was a 2x4 with a Pioneer 6 bulb T5 in it. She had TWO filtered intakes, one on each side made from a wet vac prefilter and louvered vents. I put a brand new "old school" 135cfm squirrel cage blower in it on a rheostat, Man I thought I had built Rome in 3 days... Nothing like the AC Infinity controller you have, but I put my heart in that thing, as a young stoner and soon to be first time gardener I was fucking proud of that thing. Primed and painted the inside bright semi gloss white, stained the outside. It was Cadillac.

When I left California I sold it to my mentor and local grow shop owner. I asked him about it a few years later and he said it was gone, he apparently was lazy with spills and over waterings and let the bottom rot out of it. Duuude. Seriously? He must've been watering with a GD fire hose, I built that thing to survive the apocalypse.

Anyway, saw yours and liked.

Really well, thanks. For a good chunk of the year I'm dealing with RH in the 30s so a plant left to dry in atmosphere will be brittle to the point of crumbling on the outside but still hold enough moisture to cause issues in the jar. The cab was built to address that.

The blueberry muffin from above went in there on the 13th and is still a long way from being ready for jars. I've basically found if I slow the dry down enough there is very little cure required. When plants come out of the cab, they are ready to smoke. Of course there is still some evolution in the taste, smell and effect that will happen during the cure but as far as smoothness, the flowers are bowl-ready. :)

Six days in the cab and still damp to the touch.

By contrast, the MSB in the previous post were bone dry in under 48 hours

Generally, I can tell it's getting close by smell. For the first week, the cab is exhausting lovely flower aromas, but at some point the changes start to happen and the smell becomes somewhat unpleasant as a cure begins. I know when I smell that to get my trim face on and my jars and snips ready. :)

I already posted this in Jewel's thread, since 3/4 are from his beans, but figured I'd put it here too since I'd mentioned the neglected ball of foliage that should be a Romulan. Every time I feed I make a half-assed attempt to clean it up, but it's way too late. Gonna be a bitch to trim.

The rear right is the Romulan and the other three are Bloody Sour Taffy from my southern neighbor.
