Never was much of a GnR fan. They have some good tunes but I always associate them with the wave of hair/poser metal that ended the era of classic metal(and ushered in Grunge a few years later).

I agree w this. I don’t like axhole rose but he writes some brilliant shit. And that song connects w me especially lately.

That name will always make me laugh.

I've mentioned the fun I had working with the Acadian boys. One time it was me and about 2 dozen ~French guys up at Syncrude on an emergency job, we would goof around and I would tell them our bastardized versions of French as "Alberta French".

A common one is "mercy buckets" for "merci beaucoup"; there are a bunch of them.

They all went along with the joke and it gave me such a kick to walk in to the lunchroom in the morning. I would say "Bon jovi, boys" (Bon jour) and they would all reply "Bon jovi, 'Rok".

Awesome performance. You can obviously tell that the lead singer was really fucked up but he handled this along w his band mates like a champ. So many ppl have OD’d on heroin just like Bradley Nowell from Sublime and Janis Joplin for example. It would take a shit ton of weed to OD it’s not even possible to consume that much at once. Marijuana has helped so many folks come off of this horrible drug. Cannabis is truly the miracle drug. And the most beautiful plant in the world.
