Government Mule is on tour doing Dark Side of the Mule. I think it might be a regular set of Mule followed by a Pink Floyd covers set, but am not certain of that. Anyway, would love to go, but not sure about swinging it. This video is from sometime in the past when they did it. This year is the 50th anniv. of Dark Side of the Moon album, so they're doing it one final time.;

I can't view videos on my phone... is that a Psychobilly movie?? Wrecking Crew was a thing back in the 80s.

Another demonstration of the saying "Rush is your favorite band's favorite band".
I was never a Rush fan. Not for any good reason, I don't guess, just don't like 'em, really.
But when I saw your post, I went and Listened to the whole 2112 album and it sounded pretty damn good.
But it shore gettin' harder just to be ol' Hughie (or anybody else)...
There is a reason they are more popular with musicians than music fans. Their music is so complex that myself and most people aren't able to appreciate what they are doing.
For me, as a non-musician who spent a lot of time around players, it was always fun to see someone introduced to Rush or Zappa for the first time. I didn't have to understand the music, I just had to watch the expression on their face to know it was amazing stuff.

Now it makes sense... I'm too dumb to like Rush!
It may be as simple as I just don't like the timbre of his voice.
I knew dudes that were way into Rush, right from the beginning.
I seemed to go for more dissonant, jazz-inflected prog type stuff,
like King Crimson and Weather Report and the Krautrock stuff.
I certainly like Zappa's jazz phase - Hot Rats, Wawa Jawaka, Burnt Weenie Sandwich - that stuff.
I was very clear not to include you in that statement.

They have a good Bass player. I'm just not into his Dungeons and Dragons style vocals.
