Skunk hunt!

I have grown a few Cheese cultivars. Ill have to check blue cheese out one day.
I mean it's a Phenotype of Skunk, so the potential is there for a truly skunky wonder. I know I'm personally intrigued by how the one seedling came out.... bro I'd walk outside to the garden and even with the likes of Grease Monkey and Motorbreath and Chem D all around, I had to rub a bud and smell those because the sour skunky Blue Cheese mother just overpowered literally every other plant.

This Blue Cheese mother ended up going through phases of smell; pungent sour skunk was the main attraction though, as it took a month of curing before my Fiance asked "did the cat piss on our carpet???" And I'm like no.... it's this jar.... lol. I feel like this could help finding something skunky cause I've personally never had anything like that.

Well....after a few weeks of curing a few pheno's of SS#1 has kicked my ass. They were like "what did you say? disappointed?...POW" Pheno #3 & #9 instantly stink the room up of a skunky cleaner.
The Green Crack S1 that went into this has this trait of needing extra dry and cure time to really come to fruition. I found this trait to express in many of her progeny and I'm glad to see that's what happened here and it wasn't just subpar skunks. Very glad you grew these out and thanks for the candid assessment.

I may not be understanding this, but Green Crack in a Skunky plant? I've only had Green Crack .... not too many times but it was fruity and really good truth be told.

Green Crack is Super Sativa Seed Club (SSSC) Skunk #1 crossed to an Afghani. Being that my GC is an S1, it expresses more of the skunk #1 parentage. It has some of the guava notes but couched in a sharp heavy astringency that sets herself apart from the original GC cut. The SSSC Skunks used to throw pissy/ammonia phenos. I've had the GC cut and while she's a nice cropping plant with a tropical/fruity nose and racey high, the effect seems to fade out sooner than I'd like. The Green Crack S1 has the nice heady high that lasts longer.

I felt like I snorted a big ass rail after smoking half a J of #3 pheno. I couldn't sit still for at least an hr. Then it left me on this nice plateau. Well done...I still have 13 seeds left and will run it again.

Oh that's so cool bro! I honestly didn't know the lineage of it but had a memory of it having a fairly sweet smell so I was confused. Oh man that sounds so nice! I had my first Blue Cheese this year that started smelling like actual Cat Piss and it blew my mind! It seemed to pull a lot from her Cheese side of the family and amazed me with the scent profile. Very skunky and sour, cheese scents, small amount of sweet floral but the pungency made it hard to notice. I also tried the strain Cat Piss that was done very nice once and loved it too so I can appreciate your plant to say the least lol.

We got lots of Shoreline balls....The breeder said these are the skunkiest and grossest plants he's had. We shall see! But just in case he's correct, we're gonna make sure we have plenty of beans. Got my new pollinating tent set up....My plan is to scrape what's fallen off on my black foam board very carefully and save. Close the tent back up then turn the fan on for some natural pollination from the leaves and sacs. Whatcha think? Never had a dedicated pollination tent.....anything I'm missing or could do better?

What Ive read and going to put into practice (hopefully)is...... 1. Take care of my females and clones first 2. Make sure no fans are on in the pollination tent. (turned off already at this point) 3. open the tent very carefully, and scrape the pollen off the foam board with gloves on, throw gloves away after pollen is collected. 4. Plug the fan in from outside the tent to circulate the pollen. Fingers crossed none of it escapes the tent..if so I have hepa filters on my other tents intakes for a final precaution. Wont return for 24 hrs after process....with different clothes on.
