Long time lurker. Wanna say hi and thanks to you all, I’ve learned more in one hour here than a week other places. I see that I’m not the only one hunting down the elusive old school skunk. I’m planning on an order with authentic genetics. Can some of you point me to their top 3 skunkiest strains. I don’t see RKS offered either? I know some are seasonal…any information is helpful. Thank you again!

RKS - this for sure. I’ve never grown it, but a friend of mine had a patch you could literally smell 10 minutes before you got to the patch.
Super Skunk - will stink your room up pretty well
original UK Cheese - so this one isn’t exactly skunk smelling but it sure does reek.

Welcome aboard! The aforementioned Schwaggy P is definitely the guy for Skunk in these parts.

As for the ever elusive RKS, I'm in the camp that believes it no longer exists to be honest. And I won't be persuaded otherwise until someone puts some in my hands. Not one strain labeled RKS that I've tried, or seen tried, has been actual RKS. And if someone does have it, it's probably some 80 yr old grower hiding in Appalachia somewhere and who has no internet and absolutely no idea half of every forum is hunting it!

I think it’s gone too. Awesome to see folks like Schwaggy P creating new strains to replicate it though. Im from south central Ohio and between the old skunks and Meigs county gold, I think my generation screwed up. I’ll be watching GLG every morning for the new batch to go live. Can’t believe it took me so long to find this place. I’ve been hunting for years for anything close to a skunk profile without the sweetness.

No doubt. I haven't had an experience with them but Ive read enough horror stories to know better. Im one of those guys that jumps both feet in and reads nonstop about whatever I'm trying to accomplish which is how I ended up here.
