Tex’s Grow & Show

These are the treacherous subtleties that blur the lines between knowledge and wisdom. Accumulations of tiny decisions.

Sometimes during a decision making process I ask myself, 'can I really half-ass this ' ?
Always followed by , 'do I want a half-assed crop' ?
So should I go full bore on this ? ,,,and full bore on that ?

I suppose it is the wisdom of experience helping one decide where to invest their time, focus, and attention.
Thanks Tex
good stuff !
I agree with you. I’m not saying I don’t go full bore,I just let the plants tell me how fast or slow they want to go and if I have one that is way slower than the rest that helps me either cull or not run that particular cultivar again or by itself so it’s not such a juggling act. Growing multiple strains well at a single time takes skill and additional effort along with being very much in tune with your garden and knowing what you can get away with so all are happy and productive. I really don’t try for a particular weight anymore. I’m shooting for the very best quality which is something I still strive for and don’t feel I have achieved yet. Goals??✌?

That all makes sense to me.

For my own purposes, I can interchange weight with efficiency. All for personal. I only need enough to get me to my next harvest.

I don't know what you guys pay for power, but mine is relatively inexpensive. I am getting by with gratuitous amounts of light. Although, I don't believe I am harvesting what I should be.

The stench of sage permeates from your discourse. Good things take time.
There is no retail solution for this goal.
,,, and probably no one-thing I could do to make a night and day difference.

All of these tidbits will round out my game. The extra balance will allow me to pick up speed, without fearing the wobble.

And now I'm going to invite everyone for a remote session in your garden.
I bring an exclusive photo, just for your thread.
I got a good buzz looking at this picture, I encourage everyone to share.

My electricity is not the most expensive but isn’t the cheapest either. I moved away from the old 1k hps lights to more modest 315cmh and am now contemplating a led build. No sage burning as of recent?? I’ve just learned over the years that balance is real. If you have that much light and are t happy with your yields I’d be looking at environmental factors vs inputs and also gear that is being ran. I’m on a quest for the most pungent of stenches. It’s something that intrigues me. I did just wet a few seeds to throw in the mix. I’ve and strawberry cough. I’ve for the pine smell and taste that it’s said to have and strawberry cough for my wife who enjoys the euphoric up effect. I like to grow them all unless it’s an unruly finicky pain in the rear. Others can baby those types all they want. Good chatting with you @Jewels ??✌?

Looking good I just finished my hack\build now running cobs in both tents
Hey @horribleherk , appreciate it brother. I’m gathering a list for a hybrid light. Gonna keep one of the 315 cmh which is in the air cooled hood and build a frame to go around the perimeter with 4 qb120 boards. Biggest issue I’m having is getting the driver I want and not getting raped on shipping. HLG-240h-c2100a is what I want and have found for 61 bucks which is cool but add upwards of 20 for shipping and that sucks! Do you have your light build in your journal? I’ll go check it.?✌?

I ended up using hlg240h-54 b cause I got a deal but originally was gonna use the xlg240h-ab which can be dimmed with the screw or with a potentiometer $41.00 eack this was my first try at building I'm running 6 luminous cobs @ 80 w. each I think your boards are 48v. the xlg 240h-ab should run 2 of the boards wired parallel

Man, I don't know how the hell I've never seen this journal. As I've been one of the people requesting it I feel this is my fault for not knowing. Lol.

Look at all you've got going on in here my friend. Looks like it smells amazing. I'm so happy you've got a journal. Now I can creep on yours ?
Dude Tex. It took a whole new forum and 17 different people asking you whenTF you were gonna post a journal ? good shit mang ?

This reverse AA stuff is working like a charm
