Same plant on the tpr x bck? If not I’d say you have one leaning towards the mom (purps) and one to the dad. Looks killer either way

Different, and your definitely right. There's no purple at all on the really tall one so I have a feeling she leans to the Bear Creek Kush. Going to be interesting to see what the final product is like!

Bit of a bumpy ride the last week in the garden. Temps have been absolutely brutal. It's been so windy you can feel it coming through my century old foundation in places. Really hoping it starts to warm up soon. Also I was seeing a lot of signs of N toxicity early in the week which is usually never an issue for me since I started using Veg + Bloom. Been using just plain water the last couple days.

Worst of all, I think I'm losing the Kokusho #2 reveg. Virtually overnight it just fell apart. Almost all the green looks brown and shriveled now. #3 was further along and is doing alright but the leaf tips are all fried there too. Obviously I messed something up but I really don't know what. They got the same nutrient mix as my seedlings, just a light dose of Veg+Bloom. Would suck to lose #2 but almost as if it was meant to be... @Phylex offered to send me the rest of his Kokusho beans so that I could start to work the line and see what other surprises it holds, since he has his plate full with all his other projects! So as soon as the weather improves and I can get the second tent running smoother again I'll be popping a whole mess of Kokusho beans to try and hunt a similar (or better!) pheno, which I'll then use to make some F2s and so on! Pretty damn excited to embark on this endeavor.

@J. James County Line HP, also closing in. Crazy nose on her. Like ripe mango and hash.

@thenotsoesoteric Super Lemon Crush is also looking like she's probably coming down soon

As soon as these come down I'm moving the last couple plants out of the second flowering tent and shutting it down for a few weeks until it warms up. It's gonna slow me down a good bit but it's just not worth fighting with the second room right now. Next winter I'll be better prepared.

Appreciate it my friend! Thanks for dropping in! All credit to @Dino Party for the fire genetics
Damn man, you're doing so wonderful with it! The ASS s1's are looking perfect! I have a few of the ASS crosses i'm testing also, and a few of them seem to have that same structure, not too tight not too lose, but strong branching, nice bud size early on, and the frost too. Bingo Pajama looks like she wont be themost fun to trim, but that wont be the end of the world. Have they given you any issues at all? Sure dont look like it but always good to make sure. Thanks again for your hard work, I hope you enjoy the rewards!

Absolutely none. Just a pleasure to grow all around!

And yeah, the BPxRW has a lot of small leaves but I've definitely grown worse, not something that would stop me from growing it again

Finally got around to taking down the second Vanilla Commander... she was clearly done supporting herself. The first pheno was small nugs that smelled like cookie dough..... this one is way funkier with no trace of cookies... I'd guess it leans too the Dank Commander side.... it's skunky trash can and rotting fruit. Nice yield for her size too.

My phone was dead for a while but I also took down the other Hazlenut Cream tonight. In an odd coincidence, the second pheno on this one was also way different from the first, in some of the same ways as above. Like the VC, this strain saved its best for last.... pheno #2 is a much better yielder and where the first pheno has a straightforward vanilla animal crackers scent, this one smells like buttermilk, lemon and almond. It's sour and tart smelling.

So as I think I mentioned I did some dumb stuff and lost my backup Wifi43 and Alien OG. My next round of clones weren't doing anything after 14 days so I lost patience, thoroughly cleaned the cloner and took a bunch new ones, 4 each of both of those and the Gelato 45 (even though I have a back up of that one, Ive realized my backups clearly need backups.

Ive also arranged to find some new homes for my extra MSS and Chem Sis with a family member. Its too crowded and the flowering plants just aren't finishing quick enough. I'm going to take some more cuttings of the remaining moms tomorrow.

Here's one of the MSS, still in the little blue starter pot, cause I'm completely out of space 20210214_211749.jpg

I have terrible luck with dedicated cloners. Like 0 luck. Mine is sitting on a shelf and all the parts that were useful have been scavenged.
Sterile gloves, clean new razors, no dipping in bottles, swapping water out, clean Rez and inserts, water temps good.....nothing. Just wilt and then slime and then rot, every time.

I do the exact opposite, no gloves, no wiping everything down, I use a Leatherman or a pair of scissors that I maybe rinse or scrape off, sometimes I let the clones sit in a glass of water for a day or so because I took them as a convenience while pruning, clean them up and put them into peat pucks or Rapid Rooters........pretty much 100% success everytime. I haven't had one fail in a long, long time.

No idea why, but I gave up trying to figure it out a while ago

I feel like cloning just defies logic. I've read every bit of advice on the internet, talked to tons of growers, and they all just disagree with each other lol.

When I first got this cloner it was working great for me. Then one day it just wasn't. That seems to be how things go for me though, every time I try a new method it works great for a month and then not at all! I never had great luck doing it the way you are but it was working at least occasionally. If this thing doesn't turn around this go around I'm just gonna try like 3 methods at once haha...

One way or another, I'm getting some rooted cuts of these gals going
