I'm really stoked on the Mass Super Skunk. It's loud AF. Skunky dumpster fire. Unlike any other skunk strain I've grown. Even with all the issues shes a home run, so I can't wait to get her dialed in a bit better

There was a point between 2005 and 2013 where I had 10 rooms in my basement, built from 2"x 3"s and drywall, free standing was 4'x6'x8' each...they had 2 x 600w Raptor 6" hoods passive air intake and two 6" fans, one on the lights with a carbon filter, the other just on a carbon filter. I left the basement door open with screen door caulked shut with Barton lining it for a filter...did most of my runs in the dead of winter. I was holding at one time 40 elite cuts...I worked my ass off getting this all together...getting ready to hit most everything with a strong huge D DNL male from Top Dawg and a few more studs I had found back then.

Not from seed brother. This is a cut I randomly got from a guy who was raising money to help his friends dog by selling some cuts of his clone only collection. Bit of a story behind it. It was found by a dude who goes by Analog Selections and even though it's the same strain most of the old masshole breeders (like JJ from Topdawg) remember growing back in the day, Matt Riot says it's not the SkunkVA cut that was the parent of the original Sour Diesel, so there's a bit of controversy around whether it's "the real Mass Super Skunk". So it's being passed around as the Analog cut. But this is really close to the super skunk we would get from western MA back in the day so no matter what it's called its good in my book.

So Twenty20 was sold out of STS spray so I'm trying some from a different source on etsy called Wicked Farms which sounds like it's the exact same thing. I'm gonna get down on this sooner rather than later.

Gelato 45 is gone unless I reveg this girl in flower. Lost her backup already. Everything else I have cuts going of but I'm just not sold on the Chem Sister and I need space right now. The reality is most of these cuts are pretty easy to get again these days. Like, no ones just gonna let the Chems or Gelatos disappear at this point, there's always someone holding them. It's these cuts with less name recognition, like the MSS and Hippy Slayer 33 that I worry about losing because you just don't see them come around that often.Yeah, I think someone here actually got their last bottle the other day, iirc...

I know man, I've been losing clones like a friggin rookie over here lately. Got to keep a couple, out of the few I've gotten over winter, but of course, lost my main two I really wanted... The chem 91, and ogkb 2.0... But I'm super thankful to still have the Giesel and Larry OG. Might not have as much for the summer as I'd hoped, but I've got something, at least!
I'd at least try to reveg that 45, unless you've already decided you like the 47 better, and need the space. I haven't been super impressed with the gelatos or crosses I've tried. I heard the 45 or 40 something was more sativa, but haven't tried them.
What's your thoughts so far between the two?
I think that Chem Sis is pretty rare, and coveted, so there's gotta be a reason. Have you finished and sampled her yet?
If you kick her to the curb, she can come stay with me...
Her thrips can hang out with mine, until they get their "showers"...
I'd agree, and definitely try to hang onto those rare cuts, at least a couple runs / chucks, until you find out how they live up to their legends.
I'm glad that MSS is looking so good for you! I used to be able to get an MSS from a buddy I got a bunch of my other cuts from, but I don't remember it being memorable enough to grab the cut.
Same with his "XXX OG", which I think he sometimes fucked up, and used to call it "TK"... Before I ever heard of Triangle Kush. He could've just been abbreviating Triple X Kush, or I may have passed up on some legends lol
I did end up getting his Chocolope, NL5, Strawberry Diesel, Chemdog, and some others.
Despite having no provenance, they were all as advertised, and the main reason I'm still chasing that Chem 91, 10+ years later lol
The Strawberry Diesel was a great one too. Used to love going out fishing with it in the morning.
Chocolope tasted and smelled like juicy fruit gum, and almost too paranoid of a sativa high.
A bud of grape ape stunk up 3 floors of a stairwell at work.
A bag of NL almost got me fired at same workplace, when a bitch I was riding the elevator with tried ratting me out...
... Man, they tried to fire me for weed so many times there...

@MacGydro yeah, I've been wondering if the Sis is rare for a reason. It's definitely my least favorite of the Chems to date. And I have to be honest, by and large I've preferred most Chem crosses to the originals anyways. Like, I'll grow Usefuls Chem D x Chocolate Diesel again over actual Chem D any day. @Schwaggy P Chem91 x Schwaggy's Afghan Skunk is one of my favorite smokes in rotation at the moment. With gear like that around, nursing the original along when I have such limited space (and time to care for these properly) is less and less appealing.
But anyways, I've got a cut of the sis in the dome, if she takes I'll happily send her your way. But mom is already flowering. I'm so backed up I need to clear space. I'm trying to drop a bunch of seeds @stanknugzz77 just sent me as well as some fems for a guaranteed harvest. There's a few patients in my circle that rely on me and that timer issue set me back quite a bit. Have to get my priorities straight. Need to secure the stash and keep the chucking projects in motion.

Right on, space is always at a premium, and there's always new plants to run, so I don't blame you.
I've never run the D straight, but I've done a bunch of crosses of it, and it's definitely not the unlabeled "Chemdog" I had years ago. The D does seem to set her smell into everything I've run, from GMO to Giesel, which is just starting to put that chemical smell out. I call it moth balls, cuz to me, it's dead on moth balls, or camphor, I believe. I get that and garlic at some point, in every D cross I've run.
It's nice and funky, but I'm looking for the lemons and gasoline, and blind-peeking, paranoid buzz of whatever "Chemdog" I had... Just to see if she's the same I remember.
I've heard nothing but good about useful, but haven't run anything of his yet. Was recommending him and @HydroRed to my folks the other day, because they were looking for orangey femme beans for outdoors this season, but glg was out of both, femme/orange wise.
I'm sure we'll get around to checking them both out though eventually, because of their character, flavors, and rep...
I've got the last of my @schwaggyp packs going now... Only a couple of each, as it turns out, Fingers crossed for some good gals, but definitely glad I crossed the 2 last year, for personal backup beans!
Got the Skunky VA, and Skunky VA x Skunky D... And the two personally chucked together.
You know I've got a house for wayward runaways, so don't feel bad if you have to send any packing. They'll get cleaned and quarantined, and backed up with family, and friends, if possible.
I just hope everything falls back in place for you, especially having patients depend on you.. I just fuck over our house when I fuck up... But my girl sometimes pukes for days if we're out, and have to smoke street shit for a while, that we don't know what was used on it... So, I better quit fucking up lol

I had meant everybody the plants, I'm a little behind the times myself. I usually hate mixing more than one nutrient into my watering can, but I'm trying to up my game.

So I don't know what happened but GLG decided not to carry Useful's gear anymore. Didn't bother to ask why. But now you can only get his stuff from JBC or DCSE. And some new bank I've never heard of and already forgot. There was a drop at JBC today, pretty sure DCSE is getting some this week as well... I'm trying to snag a pack of Tranquil Chocolate and DLA5 x Chocolate Diesel myself but JBC didn't get either of those.
I did get a pack of Blueberry Hash Plant x A-Dub today though and in pretty excited about that...
Also grabbed a pack of AKBB Freezeland IBL solely for the freebie Sensi Star x RKS lol. Can't stop, won't stop.
