Some Gooey Fighter nugs trimmed up and heading into jars... I can see where the Gooey name comes from, it's the perfect description. Its a special kind of sticky. Made probably the best finger hash I've smoked to date, so I imagine it would be great for concentrates. Terps are nice but a little muted. Still pineapple and lemon but not as in your face as it was before being dried

I actually just smoked the finger hash... I rolled the little ball in the dry sift from the trim... tasted like it had already cured for months! Amazing.

Still having seedling issues even switching to coco. Maybe it's the root riots? Gonna switch back to Rapid Rooters this week. It's just strange, every time I think I have it figured out I lose a few more. Most are surviving but its still frustrating. Especially when I lose multiple of one strain.

I have a lot to replant but I'm trying to be patient so I can try and get it figured out. I'm even considering a slow shut down so I can clean everything and try and be rid of the pests once and for all because I feel like they've accompanied or caused most of my recent struggles. But im trying to avoid such drastic measures. I like my perpetual.

I feel your pain, man.
My luck with seeds lately has been so up n down...
3 rounds ago, they popped, but fungus gnats cut em off at the ankles...
Knocked them down, got comfortable for the next round of pops, and got 17/18 success!
Feeling confident again, and gnats still beat, tried popping a pack of Shotgun Willie from Kinetic...0/10. Grrr
He said they were getting old, but should still germ. 2 packs left to try....
Got these AITRs for the preservation, all stoked to run them, and now holding my breath 5 days since soak...

May the seedling Gnomes smile in both our favors, sooner than later!

Oh, I do have one last Rum Runner going, looking good so far! Hoping for a happy, healthy TK leaner. Was super bummed to lose the first 4 though.

My mom and sister are starting raising some chickens this year. I think they're starting with 3, but not sure what breed.
How's it going for you so far?
I'm addicted. I love them. They're little dinosaurs. Also the eggs are so good. I'm up to 23 birds. 12 full grown hens, these 7 "teens" and 4 younger chicks.

I do have to warn anyone considering chickens though, they are definitely work. You gotta take care of them every single day

I really miss mine... Was only trying to be self sufficient/sustainable?shame on me right!? I had only 3 teen hens at the time, but live in city limits and had a neighbor complain about it (never to me, but) to authorities... Got a stern and threatening letter from the city (threatening with fines and even jail time) that forced me to give them up...yet they recently changed our city name (I believe the very same year this occurred) from the "City of Trees" to the "Farm to Fork" Capital.? Bs, not true!?

Sorry, rant over, just still pretty butthurt about it... Obviously, lol! Anyway...Not only are they good helpers in and around the garden... But they're funny as faq to just blaze, sit back, and observe them do their thing? And yes, the freshest, most delicious eggs!

I miss being able to go outside and "pick my breakfast" in the morning. At the time, of what I had going on/growing, I could go outside, pluck and eat fresh strawberries and/or blackberries on my way to the coop... Grab some eggs, then cut some tomatoes and cilantro on my way back to go dig up some potatoes and onions to come back inside to make my own 100% homegrown/home-made breakfast. True "Farm to Fork" livin shit!

I might be able to produce a couple rooted clones here n there... But I'm more envious of your freedom and quality of life brother...I dig it?

Well shit. I think I figured out whats happening to my seedlings ....I have root aphids now. Only seeing them in all the new seedlings so far, but this is really getting silly. Think it's time to find a new source for potting mediums. I'm now dealing with thrips, the worst gnat outbreak of my life, and now these presumed aphids. Two years ago I had never seen a single pest in my garden, now I'm collecting them like Pokémon cards!

I'm watering in some beneficial nematodes tonight to try and get this new headache under control... every time I think I'm winning this battle it just comes back even worse.

But on a brighter note... yesterday, a random stranger hit me up on the gram and asked if I had been looking for Deadvet gear, and sent me this picture... Screenshot_20210610-220355_Instagram.jpg
This won't mean much to most people, but it damn near brought a tear to my eye. It's like seeing an animal everyone thought was extinct to me... this is probably every cross Deadvet released as Celtic Stone Seeds.

Apparently the guy got them from a friend who had been holding onto them for the last 20 years. He was trying to look up info on the crosses and saw me post here in the thread about wanting one strain back from your past... followed my name back to Instagram and hit me up. He apparently was growing these strains around the same time I was and tracked them down to see if they are as good as he remembers.

I'm not yet sure if anything will come of it. He said if the seeds are viable he'll send some my way, which would obviously be absolutely incredible. But there's a lot of ifs there of course.

Just knowing someone hoarded these seeds for all those years though, like I did until I lost them in my last move, made my damn night.

What's this Dr.e junk? I'm desperate for something to really work... everything has been a bandaid so far.

And your right, the bugs are crazy in general this year. My tomatoes are getting hammered by tiny black beetles I've never seen before... So I've been considering a move much like your suggesting, just flowering everything and shutting at least a few tents down until I get things under control. I could move my mom's outside for a few months to keep them going. But that would mean not popping beans for a while and I'm not sure I can resist the urge lol

Glad to see you dropping in by the way man!
