Looks like a break in the action. I'm loaded up with testers and my own pheno hunt, or I would take on another one. I will be open for a preservation run this Autumn.

Not sure how updated the list is, but I see some in each category that I'd like to run.
I'd be open to trying some of the unclaimed strains for preservation. Any or all of the following, at some point: The Colombian Black, Kerala, Highland Thai, Nepal Highland, Shebergan, or Mango Biche. (Running Dread Bread currently, so they'd be interesting to compare to the pure MB)
The Balkhi, NL5, PTK, and RKS all have my attention from the In Progress column.
And last but not least, the Original Haze Skunky did, and the Neville's Haze gotta be on the list as I don't think I've ever run or smoked a proper Haze yet. Ran a Cookie Haze cross that was nice, but no legendary Original or Neville's stuff that I've heard so much about.
So, yeah, that's my interest list based on the current preservation status.
I've got openings in the next seed popping round in the next few weeks, if you wanna get more preservation stuff going soon, @Deebs .
I'm still a little miffed the AITRs didn't pop last year, and looking to redeem myself lol

I know you said the RKS was pretty acrid, and a knockout buzz, but how did the NL5 and Haze turn out, if you got a decent sample, smell and effect wise?
Anything like you expected or remembered from past experiences? I had some NL cut about 10 years ago that was nice. Piney and Skunky, if I remember correctly. I know it was some kinda loud funk anyway, cuz a bitch tried to get me fired after a stinky elevator ride lol

The Haze run I pushed through it so fast it didn't really develop much flower weight, I manipulated the photo period to rush it through it's cycle. Smelt and tasted like "pot"
The NL5 was sweet and hashy on the smell and citrus sweet on the burn. Again, this was a seed run and not a flower run.
I just harvested 4 of the RKS this round, it's actually became a favorite of my wife for bedtime use.

Cool, gotcha. I think you might’ve just answered a question I was just wondering today too there.
I was wondering how long you’d run a long ass strain, if you’re mainly growing for seed, and pollenated ASAP. It sounds like you didn’t go the whole length, just long enough for ripe beans?
Did you happen to make your own NL5Hz cross while you were at it?
I’m sure I’d try to, if I was growing both. Too many reports of killer NLHz cuts / lines out there, and I haven’t tried one of em!

OK, I'm ready to choose my next preservation run. I can clear the deck come September. What do you need run next from me? Anything 12 weeks to finish, or less. I'm flexible, hit me when you get a chance.

Yes it was a rush job for every seed run.
The Haze I started at, hm, it's in the journal.
I ran it at about 11h45m for 3 weeks then 12h15m for 4 weeks and back to 11h45m to finish.
And I did do some small crosses of the NL, RKS and I believe there we're a few of those in the vault as well , have to hit up @Deebs about that.
But these were pretty much an open pollination with multiple males so the variation will be wide I'm sure.
One of these days I'm gonna run the Columbian Haze and Nevilles side by side for flower.

ok..ok..so I finally just bit the bullet, and remade the Project Status chart what I *thought* was correct. If you have any correction's, please let me know (I would like to get this as correct as possible), and I will do my best to take keep it up-to-date from here on out.

Thanks for the update! I would be happy to run 'Sheberghan' or 'Pakistan Chitral Kush' for the community preservation. Just holler!
I have a decent sized pack of Sheberghan I cant send out asap, if you wanna rock em', ill let it roll. I have not found the PCK, I need to go through the backup bean box's backup >< ( I am sure we have some PCK here somewhere) As soon as they are found though I can mark them for you.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a backup bean box, I was starting to feel like a hoarder! If I can do the Sheberghan, maybe someone else wants to run the PCK. I'd like to pop them mid-August, that way the temperatures will be less extreme for flowering.
