@Deebs inbox just exploded.

I mean honestly in addition to those there are some of USC's Triple Pakistan, which aren't far off. Still in the bag from Sannie.

Also unless someone has claimed them, there are:

A1= The best of the Afghan Mix beans that I ran, crossed.

A90= Afgaan 90 x Black Afghani

Uzi= USC's Uzbekistan (semi-auto, will flower under less than 20 hours of light)

BLAF = USC's Black Afghani (an heirloom line from Kandahar)

GHH = G13 Hazeplant (G13 Haze x G13 Hashplant)

Sky Burial [(Uzbekistan x Nepalma) x (Nepalma x Uzbekistan)] x G13 Hazeplant

Up for grabs/preservation. Unless @Deebs wants to run some himself, that is!

After looking at the list I've noticed there are more than just Land Races on there; what qualifies a strain for this list ?

Domesticated landraces, and heirlooms were the original intent of this project. But really, this is all up to US as a collective. If there are rarities that we would like to preserve for members to grow out/preserve, that is totally fine. As you said, you see items that do not exactly fit the landrace criteria.

I'm interested in contributing to this effort, and I have a few questions about the actual preservation of the seeds. If one accepts a pack, grows it out & gets a good amount of seeds, are they expected to preserve them? Or is someone spearheading that part?
I'm just asking because many of us home growers don't have ideal conditions/ space for long term storage of bulk seeds, etc.
I'm running Kumaoni now, and 2 Lao varieties are in the lineup for early next year. I'd love to share those if things work out, and if they're wanted for the project.

You do the work, then clean and send about 2000 back to Deebs and he takes care of the rest...

Preservation beans can be sent to the vault. From there I will get them out to members as requested. The point were we get down to a few packs, another preservation should be ran to continue the line if possible. Kumaoni would be awesome, I have a couple packs of that from The real seed co. also that was on the list for preservation.

The Kumaoni I have is from RSC as well, courtesy of @Kanzeon, thanks again! They're looking great just repotted from solos to 2gal today, got (7) total. Maybe I'll have some beans for Christmas, lol.

Ok thanks! If we win the lotto I'm going to Massachusetts and grabbing some of those Chemdog clones and can send some out to preserve them.

Hey hey, I've got some new beans to preserve, thanks @Deebs (y). We will start with BLAF this weekend. More will follow as space becomes available. Perhaps I can lighten @Skunky Dunk Farms load a bit. It appears he's the prevailing preservationist on this project, thanx mang. Speaking of Skunky, I also received a nice batch of his 'Skunk #1' beans to try out [in my spare time] ;)

That's awesome
When I quit being selfish I want to give this a go. I want a sativa dominant strain. ?
Thanks to everyone putting in the work for these beans.

one of these days i will do that chitral kush run !!! its on the list of stuff to do.

Man its hard to dedicate a tent to purposeful seedery when there is so much gear i have not tasted...or tested.

I will find a time and just do it in the bloom room...,open pollination of what was sent and what was bought. :D Runts will be removed...the ugly will be removed.

I think it will be my last run before i shut down for summer next year... :D

@Rozgreenburn way to pick up the torch. It takes space.

Those Black Afghani are some great, great smoke. That's a repro of USC's Black Afghani, which is apparently an old worked line from Kandahar. Enjoy!!
