Flower room updates.
Everyone is looking wonderful except that bottom left HS#4. Kicking myself for not up potting that one thinking she'd be fine in her 1.5 gal pot. Her sisters are doing just fine in their 3 gallons, with no sign of the spotting #4 is showing. Took it for a cal def with how it looked at first, but now I'm wondering if I misdiagnosed her.

These two are just banging away, looking and smelling oh so yummy. Definitely two diff pheno's going on here, significant growth differences, and the smells are so different as well. Left side one is a sweet musk with hints of vanilla maybe, a bit of citrus in there too. The one on the right is very sharp, and strong lemon mixed with fuel type smell, with some other musky type stuff hiding behind it. Both showing some really nice frost atm.

Then there's this girlie.
She started getting the leaf spotting end of last week, possibly last weekend, and I was thinking it was calcium with the red rusty spots on the leaf edges. Gave her a gypsum top dress with a bit of Epsom, and some Dr Earth Flower Girl added as well. Everyone was due for their top dress, so all the other plants got the same tx.
Few days have gone by, 3 days to be exact, and she's gotten worse. Thinking maybe its just this small pot she's unhappy with, possibly rootbound imho.
The spots showing up coincided with the chop of the big ladies, so the lights moved down at that same time, and it could be that as well. In addition we've been having a cold spell here, so the lung room has been staying 5 to 6 degrees cooler than usual for alot of those days.
20220127_072832.jpg
Here's a zoomed in pic if anyone has some advice what I may be dealing with here. Other than top dresses, and an occasional tea, all of these plants get nothing but tap water as per my usual methods. Definitely going to give the next run of her a bigger pot for sure. Still tossing around the idea of up potting her now even though she's 4 weeks into flowering. Speaking of which, @SSGrower how many weeks of flowering before your runs of this girl were ready for the chop?

In the flowering boy tent there's this SCJ male that is looking quite stunning imho. Really like how he evened out his own canopy, and grew so nice and vertical like he did. Very strong frame to him, with a sweet V to his growth. He's ready to have his pollen collected, I'll get to that asap. lol. Being that the clone of the female I have of the scj didn't make it I think I'll be branch pollinating the one in flower now, I'm just at the end of the window to have mature seeds out of the deal so wth I say. lol.

Holy shit that scj male is stacked! You’re gonna get a friggin quart of dust off him. Nice structure. As far as the one HS plant with the deficiency, I’ve got all my plants in 1/2 gallon square pots and ran into some slight issues as well but got it corrected quickly. I raised my light back up some and flushed and then top dressed some biolive and things seem to be good. You’re in living soil so probably just ran out of steam and you dropped the lights causing them to eat like crazy. Nice looking buds either way brother. Pull it to the side and let it ride??✌?

He sure as heck is gonna give a shit ton. lol. I trimmed him back to a teeny boy when I flipped him too, he went to town though after the trim up. No way I was gonna mess with him once he got those balls, wasn't even thinking about going in there for any pruning, kept any activity in there to a minimum due to possible pollen spread. Both him, and the HS male have such nice structure, and both have some significant smells going on. There's plenty of pollen from both of them, more than enough for what I have plans for. Was gonna post a thread about pollen available if anyone's interested in these dudes.

Did that part with moving her to the side this morning, good to see someone recommending that and confirming my thoughts. ? ? ? Slid her off to the far right where the lights are higher from the tall SCJ girl in there. See how that does for her.
Haven't tried any flushing of her at all, but have been thinking it may be good to do, refresh her insides, like a plant enema. lol.

Pretty much 8-9 weeks on the HS was the sweet spot for me.

The only nute you haven't specifically hit it with that I think might be responsible is iron. The light intensity increase and small pot probably more so, like she got dried out?
She never gets to dry out with the ROLS, pretty much never gets runoff either, none of my plants get much if any runoff. I try to keep them always moist, but not wet, go more by weight of pot than anything else. Everyone of any size gets watered every day at least enough to rewet the top, keeps the soil happy imho, and happy soil makes for a happy plant.
Wouldn't an iron def show up as yellowing up top first? Thats where I typically see it happening if at all IME, its not something I've ever really had more than a couple cases of happening, and not for a very long time. Does it show up looking different in flowering?

The edges of the top leaves is what made me say that but lets be claer its not with any confidince.

She doesn't like a lot of nutes,

Please dont take offense on this question did you gibe same ammount to all plants?
Yep, sure did. They all get the same tx, just differing amounts of water plant size depending. Figure if one plant is showing, the others likely will be soon. It was in their schedule anyways, just a couple days early for the top dressing per schedule.
no offense taken, it takes alot to do that. lol

If I am reading that right then I think she may just be overfed. Not that she couldn't have used/didn't need something.

Might be a good option to pull the mid flower transplant, good time to get the girlfriend involved for extra hands.

She may be, not familiar enough with her yet to have her figured out. lol.

Guess I might as well, gotta up pot a bunch of other vegging plants too, so one more really ain't no thang. lol.
Soon as I chop that boy out of the tent I'll have some overflow room to take shit outta the veg room, and make room for the up potted ladies. Its another round of the three HS clones coming up since I have them, and likely one of the Tomahawk's too. Been anxious to get them in there so I can have them to smoke test sooner rather than later. lol

4+ years on that cut, IDK if I'd laugh or cry if you found an easy growing less leafy version. But alas this is my last go on her.

In the new 3x3 bed almost directly under the cmh

Thanks for that, he's one of your boys so that coming from you means alot. lol.
Oh I so know its gonna be a mess harvesting him. lol. It always makes me dread that part, the boy tent is in the same lung room as the veg and flower room is. After taking the last HS boy down I then had to hose the entire room down with the sprayer, and mist throughout the air a shit ton to alleviate the fear of stray pollen getting on any ladies unexpected like.
Time is flying lately, topdress was yesterday.
It for sure is right now. The last week in particular has just flown by so fast. This week was really just a blink and it was gone. So weird. My GF was even commenting on it last night how that felt so weird. Like the matrix is on fast play atm. lol

They're all leafy as heck if left alone to do their thing. Mine look like they do because i keep a constant few leaf here n there trim action going on to keep that growth in check. I try to leave as many as I can, but keep the middle thinned down for airflow, and cut out any that block bud sites I wanna see grow fat. Pretty much followed what you'd said about trimming them back, and just let em do their thing.

Did you ever notice if they reacted differently under led vs the cmh? Looking pretty sweet in there btw.

I'd swear that when I was running just the cobs there was less leafy ness than the same plant, Jenny, running under qb panels. Not a huge difference, but some imho.

Is that lower your marker to let you know when she's wanting something?

@SSGrower the #1 plant is the easiest to grow imho, she's got it, #3 fairly close behind her, yours I'd say is a pretty easy grow too on par with #3, but I F'd up keeping her in that small pot. My thought was if she is such a lowly feeder that'd she'd be fine in that pot with a couple top dresses along the way. Oh well, I'll know better for next time now. lol
I've got some clones, good size ones, of all the HS's if you wanted to flower the other two you haven't tried yet.

Yes sir. But honestly I am trying to have a consistent program so even if it does worsen I probably won't deviate from the plan which has been top dress every 2 weeks with about 1/2 the recommended monthly rate of Flower girl or 4-4-4 and ewc. Was just going to do 1 more at week 4 then ride it out.

Did you ever notice if they reacted differently under led vs the cmh?
I am sure they do but more variables than just light at play. It is probably more leafy under the cmh. IMO the best plants get a good mix of both.

Your description of the nose on No. 1 seems most similar to mine but its structure is almost opposite.

Few closer up pics of the flower room since I was there taking a few. Got some good smells off all four ladies while I had her out.

HS#3, she's got a sweet vanilla smell to her with some weed funk behind her, a hint of berry maybe. Looks to be the frostiest one of the group, and also the largest by far.
Stacks so nice.
20220128_091929.jpg
HS#1, sharp citrus with a sweet vanilla and weed funk behind it. Much shorter, and alot more spacing between buds, more round as well vs spear shaped on #3.
20220128_091936.jpg
SCJ, strong, sharp rotten orange peels funk. Very burning of the nose hairs. Lol. Lots of room between internodes, and the golf ball bud spacing. She grows tall and beefy.
20220128_091946.jpg
All 3 of them have the Vanilla smell strong, with #4 being straight up Vanilla carmel candy smelling. #3 very similar to her, but more sweet candy smell than vanilla, and #1 the same but overpowered by her citrus fuel like smell.
Loving how all are showing me the lovely terps, even the abused one. Lol.
