You live up in that area or just end up there on a vacation?
A number of yrs back when they had that big Lyons flood here I did a bunch of work in that area, but never made it up to the hotel. Was always on the move or under a time crunch so never made the visit.

PH Shining get together/smoke out at the hotel?

Not gonna lie bro it would be pretty cool to go in there with some recorders and walk around for a bit.

Would love to relocate when/if the housing rates go back to normal. I can trade in this place for a van down by the river with grow space!
So dang expensive here for sure. I dunno how much anything is gonna go back down in price here though. Least not much if it does imho. Love it here, but dang I wanna retire someday too. Lol

You'd get possessed and it'd be the most interesting/hilarious episode ever. Lmfao

Vacationed there a few times now. Was there in 2014 after the floods. I always try and get up there when I go to Colorado. Lived in Fort Collins for a bit when I was a kid.

Anyone have experience with this plant?
Everybody I ever knew that had an opinion hates them either because they're so hard to get rid of, or because if there's any around the birds crap relentlessly on about everything, and in purple too. I have a number of them I've been trying to delete for about 4 years and I've cut, dug, cursed, you name it. I try hard not to use chemical warfare but this year the cutting is going to be followed by brush killer.

Your plants all look beautiful btw 😍

And the Chinese seeds that were supposed to be strawberries are not strawberries. Lol
I'm thinking it's a Mulberry plant/tree I have here, least that's what the interwebs say.

Thinking maybe I'll move it outdoors in the yard somewhere, but having doubts if I should after research on them.
They can be invasive, but I'm betting the birds would love me for putting it out there for them to eat off of. Lol

We had a couple of super old Mulberry trees (probably not Chinese) at the house I grew up in. Every Autumn leaves LIKE A MF gah so my dad pruned the shit outta them. Less long skinny branches, less leaves. More time to mow the lawn cuz my brother was allergic 😒

Lookin lush and keepin busy. Hell ya mang. Did I get to try that Slymer when I was there? It’s one I’m interested in.

Nah, this is the first grow of the Slymer. Have clones of her already and I'll be flipping her pretty soon. I'm anxious to try those frosty buds she's known to have. 😋😋😋

Thanks mang. 👊👊👊
I did cull them last week sometime, not gonna deal w that. Lol
White bird shits bad enough. 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah, the native ones are alright, the other are considered invasive. They're actually illegal to plant them I was reading. Went pretty in depth about the differences in the species. Was all stoned reading up on things in my decision making. Then I got interested and kept reading as to the why's and such. Lol

Right on, that was the flood I was referring to, the 100 yr flood I think they called it.

I fell in love with CO and didn't wanna leave.
That was 2001.
I still love it here, and still have lots more to explore. That hotel being one of em. Lol

See, it's proof in the pictures.
This watermelon is after my weed plants.
Starts out wandering a bit, getting going.
20230621_083327.jpg
Sees Jenny and makes a hard right turn to head on over that way.
20230624_122140.jpg
I chop a plant and move things around except the watermelon. And sure enough it makes another turn after the weed plant that moved over to the left.
20230626_091154.jpg
So funny watching it grow along chasing Jenny. Guess I'm naming this melon plant Forrest. Lol 🤣🤣🤣

Was sitting here having a puff and wondering how old the Slymer is. After looking at a calendar & doing the math the Slymer plant is 73 days above soil now.
She's growing super slow like the Honey Sundaes do, with lots of side branching. She also clones really well from the results so far. May have to toss some HS pollen on her just cause. Lol.
Mmmm......Honey Slyme Sundae.....lol

Slymer hitting her stride, and the clones are happily rooted up. 😊😊😊

She should flower out nicely. Probably see about getting to that this weekend maybe.
Anxious to have some tokes off of this plant after all I've read/seen/heard about how awesome it is. 🫠🫠🫠

She sure is spreading out. 20230630_155735.jpg 20230630_155834.jpg
Theres noticeable growth just from yesterday, her arms are a good bit longer. Much more and she'll cover the tote.
20230630_155845.jpg
Fimming was a success. Four tops it is.
20230630_155853.jpg 20230630_155802.jpg
Jenny Chem comes down tomorrow, she's ready, and I'll make the time. The other HS is about done as well, less than a week.
The Slymer will be taking both of their places and be alone with the watermelon. So excited to flower her. Lol
20230626_091221.jpg
Only one light on for the summer. So far having 2 of 3 off in flower and one of two off in veg has kept the temps in the 70s to 80s and plants happy.
Room looks so empty. Lol
20230626_091249.jpg
The Honey Sundae that came down.
20230625_142519.jpg 20230625_142955.jpg
Shes so tasty. Mmmmmm

Two more rooted Slymer clones just up potted. So far it's 5 out of 6 that have grown roots no issues. 😎😎😎
Easy cloning lady imho.
20230701_115706.jpg
All 5 Slymer clones. Two new ones with repurposed clone domes. Lol
20230701_104851.jpg
Last one is still looking good, and thinking it likely that one will make it through too.
20230701_104821.jpg
Of the 3 versions of the same soil the 50/50 coco/supersoil mixed with aggregate is doing the best.
20230701_104835.jpg
Supersoil with aggregate is close behind,
20230701_104838.jpg
And the supersoil with AC and aggregate is lagging behind in last place.
20230701_104831.jpg
To keep on and further the test parameters I gave the new clones the 50/50 coco/supersoil mix with aggregate, and AC in there.
See how that performs for them.
Having fun experimenting with the clones and various soil mixes. Lol.
Good times imho. 😁😁😁

Watermelon is going nutso now. Thing is growing like mad atm. Had to add a support pot for her wandering arm. Lol
20230701_120817.jpg
And I do believe I have at least one melon started. Few other spots like that showing up. Mmmm, flower room melons......lol
20230701_120826.jpg
@Dino Party I have my own hairy legged strain growing on. 🤣🤣🤣

Few more garden updates to do.
Lol, busy day.
Took Jenny Chem down today. I can still smell her lemony goodness all over me.
20230701_132835.jpg 20230701_144531.jpg
Not even in the same part of the house, and I can still smell her like she's in my living room with me. 😋😋😋
She's smelling and looking damn fine.
20230701_144608.jpg 20230701_144628.jpg 20230701_144724.jpg 20230701_144749.jpg 20230701_153048.jpg
And her old spot in the flower room has already been filled. Lol

The other Honey Sundae nearing her end, take her down in the next week or so.
20230701_152034.jpg
Watermelons happy with the new girl.
20230701_152040.jpg
Filling their corner up and getting cozy together. Lol
20230701_151940.jpg
Almost done HS buds.
