Thank you again, J.

Happy to share.

Like I explained ( stony ramble) to SS,,,

Not Politics !
The following statements are social economic theories

Social Credit was a driving force in Alberta for half a century. The population identified as a group and committed to advance their entirety.
In a nutshell - everyone gives, everyone receives- and all end up further ahead.

@OldG made this CBD cross and came up with the clever name.
I grew it out and gave it to SS.
SS shares with you.

Perhaps making no sense on paper,,, it becomes an equation with an even number of negative factors and yet somehow we all ended up with a full satchel - and further ahead

Don't worry, poor SSG had to hear lots of Canadian/socialist BS from me during our visit. :ROFLMAO:

I also introduced him to our Can-Con laws , meant to protect our wee little culture.

One of my favorite things of the visit was the mindset @SSGrower arrived with. He came here to experience new things and he had an admirably open mind.

That's two for two on face to face visits with pHeople (and both American, whodathunkit? ;) )

He came here to experience new things

That could be the singular reason that he ate that roasted green Olive, steeped in Sunflower oil.

and he had an admirably open mind.

Well,,, I figure he had no choice but to eat that dusty pineapple cake- in order to get the Turkish Olive taste out !

Kidding aside, I agree.
SS is really easy to talk with, and apart from me needing a break, there was no reason whatsoever that I would have regretted bringing my family along.
Thoughtful, inquisitive and kind; these are the qualities I seek to instill in my own children.

As such
Besides ranching infrastructure, during our Walkabout we saw almost no evidence of man-made material.
I recall only two examples, and they were both significant.
The first was a rusted container of tinned fish. I explained that this site was originally a homesteaders dump/ landfill. Many years ago I had been there and collected a 'Savoy' badge off of the shell of a car. As Cecil explained, the border of the reserve had been extended North , more recently, and a group had entirely removed everything from the dump site.
Not everything.
We were happy to leave the tin where it lied, as it had cultural significance.
The only other litter I spied turned out to be a cobalt blue votive? glass - tea light candle holder.

You tread that sod and you come to understand the value of connections.

Karen would have simply berated the person who left it there.
Karen's husband would have packed it up, and taken it out of the reserve, because he is better than the person whom left it there.

A candle left burning is a bridge of sorts; between two places.

We were both happy to admire it and leave it be.
It was spiritually significant to someone else.
We were on our own journey.

Just tossing this out there:

Down the road, there are basements, and sometimes just outlines, of the old logging houses that we're in this area buried out in the woods. Sometimes people dig out remnants of who lived there, and they leave them in piles near it. Old cans, bottles, even shoes. The "bushes" those people who once lived there left, look like trees now. There's also Native "trail marker trees" out there. A branch bent many years ago marking old trails.

if that’s not preety I want ugly bitches no lie , shoot u know that bud it’s not a 30 sec high like so many fancy look(ng new age strains

thank you sir, for taking the words right out of my mouth. around here at least it's freeway rick ross tactics. entire menu full of 30 minute buzz weed, gets you right back in the store for more. then your 1/4 lb limit hits. patiently waiting for rec to hit... but i doubt my life will change much:)

at least two of my buddies (and myself) have all been noticing weaker growth patterns with the bag appeal varieties, mainly the ones that flood the market with massive price tags. the duration of effects is not even comparable in most cases. pointing out this stuff to anyone publicly can be quite the sensitive subject... but it's very obvious.

and hey i get that... you put work into a variety, you want to stand by it 100%. but when it comes back weaker than the old school funk, no price tag or marketing scheme will make up for it. seeing how some of these guys get all worked up with non disclosures and non competes over cuttings... really funny when my dusty ole og's and diesels are very obviously healthier and stronger by the shit ton. i'll take that 4-5 hour daywrecker over anything in the dispos around here, no question.

Ive been explaining this to ppl for at least 2 years...I mean if I can clearly notice it ,How can't everyone? One of the reasons I love the pure Michigan....It hits like old school and has some legs..Unlike most of the newer ones..Ide put some of my old school strains that I'm just getting back into slowly up against anything new...Got some above soil now...Kc Brain's Bahia Blackhead x Bubba kush...Head smasher! Any of my crosses with the Sour flame or Og 18 are beyond hype...Simply speak for themselves...Red ass eyes and all😁 Hopefully I can get some of the super old black jacks to pop..If so I'll be freshening that seed supply..... Especially if I find the pheno that smells like Salami that I used to keep

you have an og 18 clone? very interested if so. yea same here, at least 2 years of sounding like an old fart. good to see im not the only one with a decent enough memory lol. i can also almost guarantee the seemingly lack of potency over time with dispo weed... is sharecropper tactics. cutting at 52 days, etc. fits more cycles into a year. but ewwww

that makes sense from what I'd heard in the industry and bud tenders.....people who don't smoke and don't care, flip the room earlier for profit, weed looks good it must BE good...etc....

I'll dig thru my packs and find a keeper eventually then let her run the full cycle...

years ago, i had to cut and run a hells og harvest at least a week early, sneaking out a window with the branches hanging in bc boxes... was unavoidable, barring jail time for the obvious... and assault. blegh. long story short, it went.... like hotcakes. one party of 3 kept coming back, 3 times in the same day. there is most definitely a window where the nose of flower can be convincing enough, and the short, but noticeably strong-enough effects get you "needing" it. and there we go, the modern day reefer madness.
