Burgers were served..kids like different things on theirs. I just throw all of it on mine lol. Grilled onions, shredded lettuce, pickles, mustard, tomatoes, bacon etc ... And of course cheese 😉 @Psychobilly 😂...I swear, I can't see cheese now without thinking about Billy 😂😂.

birthday on the 17th this month, but since I’m a foodie I make it a birthday week hehe 😜 … on day of birthday if weather isn’t too snowy plan is to go to this amazing buffet near me and make it easy….

todays event , boneless Lamb leg , asparagus, my organic potatoes . This is my first time eating lamb, I’ve always wanted to and since I’m soo cheap and try to avoid meat makes sense. it was 30%+ off ( meat was calling me). don’t wanna freeze it and it’s expire date is tomorrow npt fucking around . Gonnea have my mom cook it since she def is best one for the job, so excited 😆


tonight maybe make some caramel popcorn, omg thats addicting 🙃


if I don’t get too involved with the food I’ll take some pictures of it lolz 😂

Well the meat was over 4.5lb (visually I thought less than 2 lol ) ,so today is also same meal… I must admit I liked that more than typical red meat and was a 10/10 dinner imo

def buying more lamb leg without bone , really wasn’t a bad deal for 25 bucks for 4.5lb boneless

Moroccan Grilled Leg of Lamb (locally raised) and Caprese Salad, basil and tomatoes grown by myself... salad made by my kiddo

The rice pilaf never happened... our expected guests bailed and the kids prefer plain old white rice... also my youngest won't eat sheep or lamb because of Minecraft? So he had hotdogs ...

PS if anyone ever wants to argue about who makes the best hotdogs... I'm a virtual aficionado of tube meat... it's a guilty pleasure

Edit: Meant to include my lamb marinade!

1 tsp each: cumin, fresh ground nutmeg, berbere (or other chili powder), black pepper, tumeric, coriander

1 tbsp: fresh minced ginger, salt

Whole head of garlic, one small onion minced or smashed with a mortar and pestle, 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil, juice from half a lemon, handful of minced parsley and cilantro

Wife's making a broth. I was tasked with removing the nails lol. Chicken feet, chicken hearts, chicken liver and vegetables, carrots, onion etc. as an American this is a little odd to me, BUT I know the flavor is going to be great!
And for the kids, pizza, I'll make in the ooni 16. I love this oven!! I made hot links yesterday smoked with apple wood. I'll chop some up and will put it on my sons pizza 😀

I forgot to post this up. Saturday the girlfriend’s parents took the kids for a few hours so we could go out. Friday was her birthday and Saturday was mine. We ended up at our favorite Mexican restaurant where the service is Speedy Gonzalez fast, the food is the ok-est Mexican food and it’s relatively cheap for today’s economy. We both had full bellies for under $50 after tip!
We didn’t do gifts for each other, we are planning a long weekend getaway to Phoenix in March as our birthday gifts. IMG_2752.jpeg

Had 1 dough balls left over from the weekend. After a couple days its hard to make it round but NBD. Still tastes great...made this for the wife and daughter. Olives, feta cheese, goat cheese a sprinkle of Monterey Jack and a little sum dried tomato. Made some smoked Texas hot links Sunday...i just had to throw them in the oven.
