I have so many plants in my pad that I've been fighting high humidity all winter, never had that issue before. Even had to break out the dehumidifier. I've seen it as high as 80% on those really warm days. I haven't had any dry skin issues or dry nose and throat all winter. Been so nice. Ya need to run some plants in the winter, it'll help the air and your health. I have a pretty good haul in just houseplants/tropicals, add all the mj plants and it makes a nice environment.

It's been 70-75f and 50%+ humidity all winter inside my pad. Love it. Last winter struggled to keep it up to 40%.

Damn bro, I've had a bloody nose almost every day this week from how dry it's been LOL. I do want to try a Winter run at some point... With how dry it really gets on this side, I'd be able to keep MASSIVE buds because the RH wouldn't mold them up. Also, I like the idea of super dry climate for huge buds in general, and I know deep down, I'd love to see what a Cheese could do if the RH wasn't 100% every morning like here in Fall LOL.

Do it man. Make it a goal for next winter. It's good for ya to set goals and work toward them.

I know what you mean about the humidity. I'm further north, most days in the fall plants never dry out, they stay wet all day, it sucks. We do have one thing going for us here, it's always breezy being right on the lakefront. Doesn't take much of a westerly coming across Lake Michigan to get a good blow going.

Just chopped some Garlic Breath x MOAC and the cola is as big around as my forearm. Had one outside last summer, same pheno, huge fat cola, had to pitch some of it cause it got rot in it. Wasn't as bad as some plants I've seen but none of that inside.

I've been slowly working my way there for a bit :) This past season, I kept the tent going a lot longer than ever before, and I even flowered out multiple clone in the tent for my breeding project, which was my very first time flowering out a plant in a tent. Now that I've seen how it goes, I've made mental notes on what's next :)

The electric companies raised whole cost by 30% entirely for me. And that’s including both offpeak and peak time. this makes it 60% total more costly it was before on off peak time, ouch . like ur time def main reason I run at night and saved my cash to upgrade my fridge/hvac/deh and even led’s , its good to upgrade if ur tech is wasting tons of power . so far since all these upgrades devices the efficiency is if not making total cost of living if not cheaper than before when cost def was lower. adapting is key
‘can’t imagine if I didn’t upgrade and ran my old geothermal to hps, man that would bd quite the bill ( last month was 1290)

shoot I tried to do a indoor at same time as outdoor and man I’m def glad I’m not fighting or paying that cause at that increase of cost and heat fighting time it def kill any profit in anyway.

I am curious if they dropped the price of electricity, or just jacked up the price between 1 and 7.

They explicitly state "you will use lower cost electricity"
Lower than the price was last week? Or just lower than the new inflated price?

I think they just implied that you ruined the environment, and charging you more will fix it.

Also.....this year I gai 3 more legal plants outside..so 6 allowed in flower. I still haven't figured out how many plants that'll really be. You have to measure that limit in dog years I think.

he heh....... I'll be doing damage on the legal 6 for sure :D

I believe they are proposing that where I live as well.
It's coming for sure. $ in the bank for em.
Pay more $$ so you can help the environment. The B.S. is amazing. You should try CA where they serve that B.S. in large quantities.
It's gotten/getting that way here as well though no where near as bad as I hear ca is.

Holy fack. And I was butt hurt about my 350 bill. Lol

I need to look at the actual new numbers they're moving to. Have been busy af,and haven't gotten that far.
Prob have to do a midnight turn on, and off by lunchtime schedule for flowering. Then a 7 pm to 1 pm veg time. I'll make it work to save some dough I guess.

Oh man, 2 day of tee shirts and shorts, so warm, getting rid of all the winter stuff.
Unwrapped the fig's from their winter wrappers.
Tubs of bulbs planted in late November, all have greens pushing upwards!
Garlic planted back then is also pushing up hard now.
Probably snow tomorrow, but so what, spring is uncoiling!!

After 15 years of being self employed I'm thinking I may be going back to work for someone else come April.
Its a tough decision for sure.
I do love my freedom of schedule, thats the hardest one to let go of, but I sure won't miss the stress that goes with running your own show. lol
Have the 3rd meeting with them tomorrow to see what their official offer is, but so far I'm really liking everything thats been discussed, and it has me excited about it.
Site Superintendent, in charge of quality control, and safety protocol on various jobsites in the mountains, and or countryside. Love getting out of the city whenever I can.
No more lugging my tools around, or doing any of the actual physical work, my body will thank me immensely. lol
Fingers crossed their offer exceeds my hopes. 🤞🤞🤞

This is the dream, getting off the tools before the body is broken and makes the decision for you. Best of luck, brother.

Couldn’t think of anything worse than crawling around in roof cavities in your 50s and 60s .
I’m grateful my jobs biggest enemy is mental fatigue . There’s always more coffee but there’s not often more cartridge and tendons in tradies joints

Yea, the body has taken its toll. I still got it in me to do it, but just cause I can, don't mean I should. Lol
I'd much rather use what I got left doing stuff for fun like yer pond you've got.
I Admire yer pond. Couldn't have it here without alot of extra efforts involved, gets pretty dang hot over the summers here.
The lake by my house often gets bad nlue algae that harms stuff. They close the lake to people and pets.
